Ooh, a TIM being a patronising gob. I’m no fan of Cazza but 🤢
I do think mansplaining can happen by women too but omg the amount of TIMs who just love to tell women they are wrong in the most patronising way is SO telling

Constantly trying to control everyone around them. Don’t share this from there, don’t use this word, use my pronouns OR ELSE, agree with me OR ELSE, be a good girl and just follow everything I say and everything will be good 😇
it’s ALL.ABOUT.CONTROLLING.WOMEN

Reading about the horrific treatment of women and babies at that hospital trust makes me even more furious about terms like birthing bodies, gestating parents, chestfeeding etc. It was WOMEN this happened to. FEMALES. How dare anyone try to take our language away as well as our dignity and agency.

Giving a tit about women is now "radicalisation". Give me a bleeping break.

My work has just released its position in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.

Lord knows what the people higher than us on the list are doing because the trans employees are treated like the second coming of the messiah. We're in tbe top fifty percent, probably penalised for still having the word "woman" in the maternity policy or something.

I've got a new job and all their emails are pronoun heavy. Not enamoured.
Thoughts and prayers are with you. Don’t cave!

I follow Ellie Taylor (comedian and actor) and she always comes across as a true feminist. Had no pronouns on her bio…until the other day. She/her popped up. She had recently done some filming in Canada for a tv show with a trans character in it. No coincidence that the pronouns have popped up the minute she landed in Canada. She can do what she’d wants obviously, it just made me feel a bit 😔 also, why do hardly ANY men put pronouns on? It’s a funny one that. Women = compliant, nice, does what’s expected/demanded. Men = do what you like, no one will care or judge.

This must be a mistake - surely they mean "prostate owners". Remember, not everyone with a prostate is a man! And women can have a prostate too! 🤭

Imagine you're grape, by a man, with a pen, because that's the legal definition of grape, and in the infinitesimal likelihood you are believed and it goes to court, you have to call your rapist "she", otherwise be considered a bigot.

Women are being subject to gaslighting at every turn. Unfuckingbelievable.

My employer has sent out an all staff bragging email about being a Stonewall top 100. I was really hoping they would leave the scheme. Nice to see some opposing opinions in response to their tweet about it though.

My timeline is full of reactions to this story. This is the first time I've seen any elected official label hormones and surgery for minors as child abuse. No idea how it will play out as Abbott is an absolute tool and this article is infuriating in parts, but it will be interesting to see if other states try to enact something similar.

Twitter gone absolutely nuts. All celebrities tweeting flags and protect the kids.
It’s like they can’t see themselves.

Despite the majority in my work having pronouns all over emails and bios I have so far resisted and haven’t been pulled up on it as yet. It is ridiculous, my name is a typical female name so should be obvious. If it’s not obvious and someone somehow thinks I am fella then so what?

Well exactly, who gives a tit?

I can understand why someone with a ambiguous name might want to clarify their sex but if you've got a name which is obviously male or female why would you need to do this?

It’s pledging allegiance to the cult, that’s why.

The very obviously male dean of my uni has “he/him” in his email signature. It’s like, mate… We know you’re he/him. So is 90% of the management.

I have an ambiguous name and it's my reason for not including pronouns - pretty useful being mistaken for a man when they command more respect.

Always some big bearded bloke isn't it. Of course Steve, just because you're a six four gorilla doesn't mean I should assume your gender. Bloody nonsense.

Let's see these people actually work closely with a big hairy bloke with blue hair in a dress whose name is now Shirley and she/her. They would bleeping hate every minute.

My work has made the top 100 too 😴 we do offer 'pronoun badges' that include some corkers like 'ze/hir/hirs' and 'xe, xem, xyr, xyrs' so that definitely won us some brownie points 🙄
