Which is such a shame because social media has meant we are more connected with people and can talk to people from all over the world. But there is this dark side about it which means even asking a simple question can send you to the gallows.
Agreed, and mainly because a small vocal minority are just okay with shouting everyone else down insread of having a calm discussion

Going back to the UPenn swimmer, does anyone think that this person is just pretending to be trans to win these races? I don’t know if there are any other rewards to winning (such as money or financial help for university costs etc) or if they are just doing it for the ‘glory’ but it feels suss. Or am I just completely cynical?

Sport in US universities can give scholarships and all sorts. I’d love for someone to ask why he can’t compete against other men?

yeah, also if he wants to go into this as a future career obviously this is important. Even if he is "really" trans now, I don't dount that in the very near future (if not already) there are already people taking advantage of this to win/do better than they would otherwise

It’s hard to say, isn’t it?

Although one of the comments about this individual that I read on Twitter was “hypno sissy porn is ruining women’s sports”.

It could honestly be that “Lia” is just one of many, many young men who have been drawn to transition because they’re addicted to niche porn. When I read the sissy porn article earlier this week it was like a lightbulb went off. This is why we have a new demographic of younger men transitioning! You’ve got to admit, they’re not like the usual middle aged AGPs who have conventional jobs, marriages and kids before the fetish takes over.

So, that’s a long winded way of saying that “Lia” could well be genuinely taken by the trans cult, and the fact that 6’ 4” men with HUGE shoulders are now allowed to trounce women at swimming is a complete bonus.

Follow up article to the Zara changing room article. Reporter did not actually go in any of the changing rooms, just asked.
Many threads ago I mentioned that Debenhams had this policy and our team (ironically called Women's Wear) was told that anyone who wanted to try on women's wear could use our changing rooms. We were told to move anyone who objected to another changing room. It never happened but I've no idea what we would have done as there weren't any other female changing rooms.
This could utterly duck over what is left of Britain's high street shops.
The lack of a response from Stonewall to the article speaks volumes...

I read the story about the swimmer yesterday and I just thought how pathetic. He didn't even make the 1st team as a man, now he's smashing all the women and bragging about how easy it is.

Your a bloke beating women, where is the pride in that, it's like me running against a bunch of kids then cheering and celebrating when I win.

There is no sportsmanship in sport anymore. There was a doc on the BBC about people completing in the Paralympics when they weren't as disabled as claimed. It's unbelievable that people would want to compete against others that have such as massive disadvantage. But there's money involved in winning and money is all some people care about.

People say no man would pretend to be a woman to compete against women, but if people will fake disability why is it so hard to believe that men would want to compete against women so they can win.

I actually think the choice of name says all we need to know. Pronounced Liar not Leea. Not quite a good enough male swimmer.

Surely it's the same vibe (any motherland fans here?👀) as when Kevin wins the Dad's race but turns out all the other dad's were running with their children, so he just beat a load of kids 😂

This is clearly ridiculous and I'm sure it won't ever happen but the article alone will definitely peak some men I'm sure.
I don’t think it will. Men know this type of balls will never actually happen. Whereas us women know that the erasure of womens spaces etc will definitely happen

I was chatting about self ID to some men that I work with at the Xmas party on Friday night (TERFs know how to party🤣) and they agree it is wrong on every level. They don't need peaking. The problem is they are just as afraid of repercussions and it doesn't affect them so they won't/don't fight like we will.

Well this has ruined my Sunday

Their life’s work has been exploiting women and pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable when it comes to the ethics of creating babies to order. “Twins” with different fathers, using egg donors, implanted into “gestational carriers” etc. They could not have done more to normalise the concept of bleeping around with a child’s genetic links (I mean, it’s easier to tell a child with two fathers that they don’t have a mother when they were created from the egg of one woman and grown inside a second, right?)

Tony and Barrie have five kids together, then Barrie commissioned another baby with his new boyfriend Scott (his eldest daughter’s ex boyfriend) and now all three of them are having ménage a trois triplets, and demanding to have three people on the birth certificate? Is it too early to drink?!

Good to see Sharon Davies speaking up for women's sport. And for once the replies aren't a complete tit show

It’s amazing what having money has allowed Tony & Barrie to get away with throughout the years. I’ve watched a couple of their documentaries and they seem to buy their kids. Saffron especially seems to have money thrown at her for every little thing. They seem quite messed up.

It’s just like The Emperor’s New Clothes. We all know the truth. TW are NOT women.
Saying you are in the wrong body and now identify as a woman is just the same as me saying I don’t identify with being 40, I now self ID as a 25 year old. Utter madness.
