I think she means the spin is coming from trans women who look in the mirror and think they look like women.
It's definitely not like gardening leave, I believe he will have to declare it to any jobs he applies for for the next 10 years and 'misconduct' is bad. What I am surprised about is that he was so bold as to say he wasn't aware of the codes of ethics etc the GMC sets down and they only gave him a month. I know for a fact those are on the GMC syllabi for all approved medicine degrees so it doesn't reflect well on wherever he went to med school tbh.

this is why I am surprised the GMC weren't harsher on him, it doesn't make them look good that their syllabus is clear does it?

That Freddy McConnell has pissed me off so much. I really don't understand how you can give birth and then be triggered by the word mother.

Not once but twice. Bearing in mind these pregnancies aren’t accidental! Stopping testosterone, getting sperm from somewhere… has Freddie used sperm donors or a willing male friend? I can’t remember.

Is it a suspension then back practicing or a review in a months time? And I suppose a black mark means every time he slips up and gets reported (and he will slip up, he can’t help himself) means he can be reported again and again and again and again

Wasn't it yesterday? Where I live in London they organised some kind of event for it yesterday evening which I was due to attend but couldn;t as I wasn't that well (but also because I would have had to come alone home at night which I now hate doing tbh).

Ahh maybe, I might have misread it. That's a pain - you'd think someone involved would've thought about the implications for women's safety with it being dark so early now!

I do believe trans woman should have the right to change their name and be addressed as she/her. However if the person has been convicted of any sexual offences or violence against women that privilege is lost.

I’ve said this before, but I clocked a young man dressed as a girl at a shopping centre over the summer. It was really busy, but even then, I saw him out of the corner of my eye and - despite the crop top and padded bra - my brain clocked that it was a man immediately. It’s instinctive. It was the height, build, and torso of a man. He was with a young woman and would end up using the female toilets and changing rooms, no doubt

Does anyone know the data on males in female prisons in the UK? Discussing this issue with a lib fem friend who thinks I'm obsessed with a niche issue that affects no one.

In England rape can only happen with a penis

So basically there are all men

The prison service is being taken to court the now because there was a woman attacked by a self ID man who used to wear a dress and no underwear in prison

I’ve never heard of this before! How horrendous. I had a read on Google and listened to recordings of Alessandro Moreschi, I double checked his age at the time of recordings and he was around 58 (I think). Very creepy.
