"You just making up BS to support your transphobia"

Cool. So are we not believing women who say they've been raped or sexually assaulted now? Sounds like garden variety misogyny to me.

It’s starting to really affect me too. I’m anticipating being asked for my pronouns on my signature at work and feel enraged about it before it’s even happened. Need to try and keep my composure!!

There are loads of these on tiktok which, I'm sure entirely co-incidentally, has the youngest, (and most easily influenced by peer pressure) demographic of all social media sites

Take a note of the bit he says at the end - that if a lesbian's refusal to have sex with him comes from being raped, that it is 'maybe forgivable', but it is still transphobic. With the implication that if you are homosexual and do not have past sexual trauma, refusing sex is not forgivable.
News flash - I can refuse sex with anyone - even my own husband (thank you R v R for making marital rape a crime in England in 1991!) so duck off with your guilting women into sleeping with you. It didn’t work when you were incels in your mums basement and it doesn’t work now you have put on a dress and target lesbians.

The blatant glossing over of these lesbians saying have been raped and coerced astounds me. Owen Jones, for example but alarmingly women such as Rosie Jones and Ash Sarkar completely ignoring the pain and trauma of these women ☹ In my eyes that makes them rape apologists.
I have a few lesbian friends who are married and are now, in my opinion, throwing young lesbians under the bus. How can they ignore this?

Wait so now cis people calling themselves cis is problematic? The rules never stop changing!

With the implication that its the "cis" people who are breaking from the norm, the term non trans really cannot duck off enough.

We already had non-men, so I guess non-trans was always going to be the next step.

This is different to what we've been talking about for the past few days but relevant to the thread

Summary: mastercard is demanding that some porn sites manually review videos to ensure that nothing illegal is happening, so the sites are turning to cryptocurrencies instead.

I didn't know this website existed - things just get worse.

Yes Bobby. Its the nasty transphobes that try to tell gay people who they should and shouldn't sleep with....

The absolute mental gymnastics here !

Also, the woman posting pro trans and calling herself cis above is a good example of why you shouldn't pander- she is still "doing it wrong" and should have written "non trans." It will never be enough and they will always try to catch you out and centre themselves more!

This is why I won't ever call myself cis.

LOL, John Lewis have had to withdraw the baby drag queen advert because it’s been declared “potentially misleading”. In order words, a child wilfully trashing a house doesn’t count as “accidental damage”.

Glinner shared this brilliant essay on his substack. A butch lesbian telling the story of watching her community become overrun with AGPs and straight women identifying as trans or NB. Long but well worth a read.

It’s all “believe victims” until the perpetrator is transgender
Then it is just ignore the victims and focus on how victimised trans people are. Remember the case a few years ago where a girl pretended to be a man and had sex with her female friend? Iirc she got a prison sentence. How would this be any different to someone pretending they are a woman?
