& I bet we'll get to the point where women with functioning wombs will be asked to do this, and if they refuse, will be accused of transphobia. Because Trans women take precedence over everything else.
One of the articles makes a good point that there could be an ‘exchange’ between trans individuals, but also that donations from deceased individuals is likely far safer for trans individuals for some reason or other

Honestly, with the cost of the procedure and the fact that it’s considered to be in an experimental stage even for women, it’s unlikely we will get to that point anytime soon even if this particular surgery happens to work and actually produce a child

I don't know if people have seen this story and it is off topic but it really reminded me of people's discomfort with that weirdo who was posting about porn and kink. This story is a reminder to trust your instinct and gut reaction. Its also striking how this woman was initially dismissed because of her pregnancy hormones and the onus was imposed on her to prove something wasn't right. It was another woman who believed her. She was extremely brave and stood her ground.

My mantra these days, thanks to Crime Junkies is "be weird be rude stay alive" . Women always tolerate unwelcome conduct cos we are conditioned to be kind. The amount of true horror stories were women say things like " I didn't want to be rude in case he didn't mean it" .
When I was 12 i was on a bus and a man sat next to me and pushed himself so I was crushed and I just tolerated it. I hate that such men use our very vulnerability against us.

Is it? The NHS seem pretty keen to do whatever gives them woke points these days, particularly at the expense of women, and taking it out of the women’s healthcare budget wouldn’t present any significant challenge either.
Who would dare object, and not be sacked or silenced?

The whole thing is bleeping terrifying. And as Beverly Macker says, who will object? If a head honcho at the NHS expressed 'concern' they would be sacked for transphobia. Which is clearly the only prejudice that matters these days.

The NHS is utterly fucked up at the moment. Pronouns are now in our mandated email signature….I refused.
We also had some woke young angrily man telling us that all toilets in HQ will finally be made gender neutral. Well I’ll continue working from home then you jumped up little twit. duck off.

I'm hoping it comes out later that this is a spoof account but i doubt it :ROFLMAO: why does this person want to be labelled as a lesbian so badly?
Give it time, in a year or so people will be coming out as straight to get attention as anything else will be too mainstream. Probably be quite nice for genuine LGB to be on the other side of the coming out bandwagon and not get hijacked by attention seekers

While hating labels. Stupid melt. When she grows up I hope she will cringe.

Females (it always seems to be females) in hetero relationships really need to stop being so desperate to be “queer” and oppressed.

I just rang my boyfriend at work to tell him something quickly and a man that works there (and is a drag queen) picked up the phone and started making sex noises down the phone. Apparently, it was a joke, he was trying to make it sound as if my partner was cheating on me but because it was so obviously a man making the noises it was meant to be funny. I felt violated.
I explained this to my boyfriend so that he could understand why I hung up the phone upset and shaking:
a) He's friendly with my boyfriend, but I don't know him. So, ultimately, a strange man just made sexual noises to me down the phone. If a man did that to me on the street, even if it was a joke, it would be harassment.
b) It doesn't matter what the intentions were, at the end of the day I felt violated and harassed. So guess what, I was violated and harassed. No excuses.
I haven't taken any further action. But if it happens again I will talk to this man and let him know that this is not ok :(

Entirely up to you obviously - this is your situation. But it’s a place of work - and a work line. And the behaviour is inappropriate and honestly your boyfriend should be making a complaint. Only my opinion but your reaction to it makes me feel this should be dealt with and he should not be let off. I hope you feel better soon.

Try to make sense of the Tik-Tok -
Surely saying that as they are both non-binary that she's a lesbian as she's a 'non-man in love with a non-man' could also mean she's gay as she's a 'non-woman in love with a non-woman'? But no it's all about claiming woman's spaces by being a lesbian whilst also deeming woman as a dirty word by using terms like non-man.

Non-men is horrendously offensive and backwards, I really don’t understand people who don’t think the purpose of this movement is to erase women tbh

Sorry to be dense, but how on earth are they using wombs from real live women to do this? Presumably they are not women who need hysterectomies as these would be futile to be transplanted so why on earth would someone with a healthy, functioning womb sign up to this? Jessica will die soon, it's inevitable, she is mentally and physically broken.
I assume through the organ donation register. I have removed myself from it for that exact reason. I don't want to play any part in making Frankenstein wombs for babies and I don't want my body parts to be part of some perverts kink.

Yes yes bleeping yes. Men get away with it because we are too nice to tell them to duck off. We are too nice because society has conditioned us to be like that.

My parents were punks, I'm not embarrassed or scared to tell a bloke to back off. More women need to do the same. It won't resolve male violence, but it would stop the everyday tit like men pushing boners up against you on the tube, or your boss "accidentally" touching your arse.
