This totally plays into the ‘boycott the Olympics - no one watches women’s sport - no one cares about women’s sport - no one should fund women’s sport.’
football is a thing - I recently read the history of the FA destroying women’s football in the UK. Determinedly, on purpose, forbid them to play and stopped women’s football for decades. This is why our women’s team is so underfunded compared to the men’s game. It’s not that there wasn’t interest - the FA killed it.

in the US the women’s team won a ruling that means they get equal funding for sports - same as the men’s team. In football ⚽ it’s the women’s team that is successful. Now men want to take that funding as well by getting scholarships as TiM. It’s sick.

This post was made by a man on another forum (which seems to be all men) where they were discussing the trans weight lifter in the Olympics:

"Would you agree though that wimminz are, for the most part, the primary and most enthusiastic proponents of this woke balls and who were (until it affected them directly) perfectly fine with a coward and a freak calling himself a woman?
Hoist on their own petards.
duck them.
All the wimminz athletes should simply refuse to compete against this chap."

Obviously I don't agree with the 'duck them' sentiment because this bloke doesn't seem to know that women who do speak out are attacked relentlessly.
It’s always our fault. All the time.

Sounds like the same kind of ignorant wick who would say “Wow, men in women’s sports? Men in women’s changing rooms? Why haven’t feminists been campaigning about this?”

Yes I agree. They seem to be blissfully unaware of the vicious attacks that women like JK Rowling have had to endure and the number of women who are very scared by this whole situation because they are being attacked by men aggressively asserting that they are women. For most its the fear of losing their jobs and being threatened with violence. I can't voice my opinions on this where I work as they are obsessed with inclusion of everyone.

Unfortunately the majority of men will only start to take notice of this when something terrible happens to a woman standing up for themselves.

I also think it's the fact that men don't really have to experience it to the same level

I'm sure there are certain things that trans men are trying to do that annoys some of the male population or is generally a bit controversial - I'd honestly love hearing about it actually! But overall, it seems pretty chill for the men. Trans men probably don't have much advantage in male sports so there's no discussion there. May be a bit weird seeing them in the bathroom but they probably don't flash you
I think the only issue I see, which is more on Twitter but I've also heard being used irl, is referring to men as 'cis men' insultingly

For women it's a completely different thing and it will ultimately come down to arguments about trans rights and inclusion within the gender which is a lot more heated than using a slur online as it has actual long-term impact on most trans people beyond feeling insulted

Was just thinking today, has anyone ever heard of cisgay or cisbi or does it ALWAYS have to be cishet?! Who can assume I’m A: female (I could be a very convincing, short trans woman) and B: heterosexual? I saw it on here about a group of ‘cis het’ men beating up either gay men or trans women. Bit presumptuous assuming both parts of that label just from looking at a group of people isn’t it? Almost like it’s bleeding obvious 99.9% of the time if someone is male or female.

SO true. Comes straight back down to main character syndrome. They expect everyone to remember to ask pronouns and “how dare they assume!!!!” but spend their life making assumptions 🙄

‘Take campaigners for trans rights. Look at the way too many of them treat women, women who forged careers in sports originally built with men in mind.’ Colin Brazier gives his take on whether transgender women should be able to compete in the Olympics as women.

Yes and it's usually from trans men and women who are trying to be homophobic in one way or another.

"as a black transwoman"

they use fae/faer pronouns.

To paraphrase Blair White…. I am deceased.

To an extent I can deal with faem (?) using she/her or they/them…

but fae is just making up stuff! Like how do you try pass as fae and a woman and expect people to intuitively know that’s your chosen pronoun?

like you could tell fae were trying to pass as a women and might be inclined to use she/her….

I hope fae don’t accuse someone of pronoun violence when they can’t tell by looking.

I don’t know who this person is…but have they done a Rachel Dolezal?
inwas literally thinking this but I also think fae might be mixed race?

Im trying with the neo-pronouns but I can’t….

They are the head of Green Party Women 🤦‍♀️. I call them the 'identity collector' because of a tweet they did in which they listed their bazillion gender, socio-economic, race, disability identities. I think it's a case of a white guy getting around intersectionalities bigging up of minority voices by identifying into minority groups.

I don't think I've heard the abbreviated term 'cisgay' before, but I've seen "cis gay man" used before... often "white cis gay man" to sometimes mean "only one small part of you is a minority so your opinion is less relevant".

The last part of your post is correct too because if a man hates gay men enough to beat them up, they might not be 'het'.
