They’re too scared to look racist and instead allow her to spout her idiotic views on FGM. My nephew went to school with a Somali girl who had this done. In high school she told her then secret boyfriend about it and told him it was forced on her as a child. She had pain from it but her parents didn’t care because she was “intact” for her husband. Once they found out about her relationship she disappeared and the family did too.

Ahh, the "it happened to me and I'm fine" school of critical analysis.

I dont give a flying duck if one woman is OK with FGM (or sex work, or men in women's spaces, or any of the other things individualistic choosy choosy choice chooser "feminists" find personally acceptable), you still don't get to consent to that thing for the rest of us.

I watched Louis Theroux’s interview with Germaine on his podcast a while ago. She was fab, but definitely frail/fragile, and I got the impression it wasn’t her choice to be in the home. Still ran rings around Louis. She actually came across as a bit of a dork which really endeared me to her.

Turned on BBC1 to watch the news only to catch the end of some celebrity festive quiz show where the winner was drag queen Tia Kofi. No one can say they are not attempting to normalise drag as family entertainment as opposed to adult entertainment. Of course, she/her pronouns were used throughout.

Skate Canada has said they will no longer host events in the province of Alberta because they do not allow biological men to compete in the women’s events. Because apparently they are bigoted and not inclusive enough.

I really don’t understand sports organizations falling over backwards for this kind of stuff because biological men have a distinct physical advantage. Women’s sports mean nothing I guess.
