Oh my, I am freshly into a new job and blurted out during the Christmas party that I don’t believe in gender ideology. At the time it felt safe saying it and actually didn’t get any comments back about it but it’s been a few days and I kept panicking what a stupid thing that was to do. I’m in probation period after all and have no sense of how people are feeling about it in the company.
Yet, it is something that I would defend and was specifically meaning the whole point of weird claims of changing biology and of course all those creeps that suddenly identify as female when charge with very male violence. Not sure where I’m going with this post, I’m obviously worried about some consequences here, but I’ve a bad habit of sometimes having no filter. Hope people got drunk enough to forget it tbh.

Can anyone prove you said it? Hopefully they've forgotten and it's not captured on any audio.
If they can and you get in trouble, just say you were testing the water to see if everyone's OK with your impending troonsition and inform your new pronouns. Simple!
Yes this is the answer! I’m sure everyone else was thoroughly inebriated to remember it and if they do then it’s their word against yours.
I went to a pub/restaurant recently one night and the toilets were all marked "everybody "
The upside was that they were all individual, floor to wall cubicles with sinks and dryers inside, but the downside was, by about halfway through the night they all had wet floors and stank of piss

More than likely people didn't care/have an opinion/didn't want to discuss it a work Christmas party and have forgotten about it.
Or they agree with you and haven't felt brave enough to say it in a work environment.
This is most likely the case, the vast majority of people know it's all a load of codswallop, but are just too scared to say anything.

I watched the interview they are quoting from and what she actually said was that if companies just had a couple of individual toilets with enclosed basins, one for men and one for women, then each one of these could easily be made unisex. She implied that biological males should not be entering women’s toilets where this was not the case and alternative provision should be made. However, you could tell she was scared sick of offending the trans lobby and circumvented questions that required an answer as to whether or not ‘transwomen are women’. When asked directly by Keunssberg if she believed ‘transwomen are women,’ she blathered on about legally having regard for the SC ruling, but socially we should #be kind and no reason not use someone’s preferred name and pronouns and respect their ‘identity’.
She's very old and lives in a care home. I would guess that Germaine hasn't changed any of her views but having spats with TRAs in the media is no longer on her agenda.

For over the weekend it emerged that the Journal Of Medical Ethics, part of the British Medical Journal Group (BMJ), has published an article claiming that opposition to FGM rests on ‘misleading, often racialised stereotypes’ and is therefore ‘Western sensationalism’.
The authors of this document argue it should be rebranded as ‘female genital practice’.
They suggest that the link between FGM and trauma is ‘often presumed rather than investigated’ and claim that the suffering of women is imposed by Western narratives.
Translated into plain English, the argument appears to be: do not call this violent, permanently damaging and needless act what it is, because that might offend cultural sensitivities. Or, more bluntly still: the feelings of some adults matter more than a young girl’s right to her own body.
I saw Germaine Greer walking down the strand while I was on my lunchbreak a few years ago. I was too nervous to speak to her and I will always regret not biting the bullet and just giving her a massive THANK YOU.
