Brian Cox could definitely do the show o his owI once listened to a couple of episodes of the "Monkey Cage" podcast, and Robin Ince was completely superfluous, he brought absolutely nothing to the show, he's not funny and he's as dumb as a bag of rocks. Brian Cox sounded at the edge of exasperation several times after he was interrupted by Ince and his unfunny asides.
He probably thinks he's some kind of martyr now, sacrificing his stellar career on the altar of tr@nnie-love, but I highly doubt that anyone will notice or care.

I've said this before on these threads, I would've been terrified and upset by drag queens as a kid. I grew up watching Edna Everage (Barry Humphries) but he wasn't plastered in stage paint with an offensive name.
I was frightened of panto because I didn't like the dames, I found them scary, I don't like masks either.
I’m the same. I hated clowns as a child, found them grotesque and scary, I feel the same about masks, mascots, anything really where people are hiding their true identity. Drag queens would have terrified me too. Honestly, they’d still make me feel very uncomfortable with their grotesque make up, bitchiness and misogyny.
Why is drag pushed onto children. It’s inappropriate, scary for many and just not necessary.

"A "women-only" affordable housing scheme in London has said it will accept male-born transgender women on its waiting list.
The 102-flat Brooke House in Ealing will welcome applicants who were born male but now identify as women.
However, transgender men, those born female who now identify as male, cannot apply for the development.
The Women's Pioneer Housing Association now appears to describe the project as "women-led" rather than women-only.
Residents' male family members will be permitted to live at the site.
Those eligible for the waiting list include women who are female by birth, those holding a gender recognition certificate, and transgender women planning or having completed gender reassignment.
The association bars men who cross-dress from applying, The View from W5 reports.
Anyone with a history of violence against women or children is also excluded."

Genuine question, why don't we seem to hear about the born women who are now trans male, causing issues relating to same sex spaces. I have to say I've not read a single news article where this has been the case. I know it probably exists but it isn't being pushed on us as much as the trans women debate. Is it because men just wouldn't tolerate them in their changing rooms full stop? Threat of violence maybe. I have to admit I don't know any trans males either, though I work with a couple of trans women (and they are quiet, unassuming, nothing like the idiots spouting crap on social media.) It'd be interesting to know any relevant statistics but I wouldn't know where to begin looking.
Because nobody takes them seriously and they’re not a threat. Those who pass, pass better than the men, so it probably is easier for them to get away with it, but no man is going to feel threatened by a mentally fragile woman pretending she’s a man pissing through a she-wee. As always, she’s the only one at risk really.
the only complaints I’ve heard about are from gay men talking about when these women show up in saunas, which probably does deserve more media attention because it’s creepy and predatory af.
Because they're women and they largely behave like women, and women generally don't barge into any space where men are and take over.

I quite liked Robin Ince, been to see the IMC recordings a few times, and i liked his book on being diagnosed with ADHD. Except when he shoehorned the trans agenda in.
