I thought she seemed quite flustered in this discussion.
Closest I've seen her to losing her cool. He was more persistent than most are, and she's also more deferential to men - the combination threw her a bit I think.

Still all of the patronising "I can't continue this conversation if you're so disrespectful" stuff though when it came to pronouns.

It's a pity Andrew Gold does his boy next door act on Heretics, because if I'd been in his chair there'd have been no stopping me. Hopefully she has a crack at Triggernometry

Yes - there were a couple of open goals where he should have slammed her into the back of the net, and he threw them away.

ETA - I'd LOVE to see the Triggernometry lads take her down.

My Mum is pretty left leaning, and even she's in to Triggernometry. I love Kisin.

Helen Webberley is a bleeping hole. The way she always sounds like she's on the verge of tears and her daft hand movements make her even more unlikeable.

IMO she's firmly rooted on the 'Drama Triangle' and believes she's rescuing victims from nasty persecutors.
She's like one of those white saviour people, she thinks she's a trans saviour, protecting fragile and bullied loons from vicious haters.
She's got rescue fantasy. It's a form of narcissism. Also prob legit distresses her. She's the ultimate flying monkey to boot.

Also she's obsessed with mentioning about the 'females with penises' but never / rarely mentions the young girls who are getting their breasts chopped off and harmed with T. So she's only interested in standing up and protecting sick men. Some women fight hard to protect sick men. IMO I think that might come from a primal survival skill - there was a time until recent history where a woman could only survive by having men find them indispensable. She's fending off fellow women and focusing on the needs of men.

Not sure where else to go with this info/my opinion 😬 but my 14 year old sister has recently told us that she might be trans, wants to be called Jay, has been ordered a binder from her guardians (long story short she's in residential care) and I just don't get it. I don't understand. I'll be here for her as her sister but I do feel that unlimited access to the internet and lack of close friends and family hasn't helped.

One thing I would have loved to have seen was when she said that Dr Hilary Cass shouldn't have led the review because she knew nothing about sex and chromosomes because that wasn't her specialism - I'd have loved someone to ask why, in that case, her gastro-enterologist husband was qualified to diagnose and prescribe cross-sex and puberty blocking hormones for children based on 10 minute zoom consultations as seems to have happened.

Linehan has been cleared of harassing TRA ‘Sophia’ Brooks but was convicted of damaging his phone.

District Judge Briony Clarke said that while Linehan's posts were "unattractive, annoying and irritating", as well as "deeply unpleasant and even unnecessary", they were not "oppressive or unacceptable" and therefore did not meet the criminal standard for harassment.

She also did not find that the complainant, a biological male who identifies as a woman, "was as 'alarmed and distressed' as they portrayed themself to be by these messages and this course of conduct".

A balanced report by the BBC, clearly stating that Brooks is a male. Wonders will never cease!

ETA Well bloody hell. Just seen this reported on the BBC 1 o’clock news and no mention of Brooks being a biological male, just referred to as ‘trans rights activist Sophia Brooks’ 😡. Still, they did mention that the judge felt Brooks was not an entirely credible witness!

He was harassing Graham Linehan. It's a disgrace that this case was brought at all.
If someone kept shoving their phone in my face when I'd asked them to go away I'd be tempted to grab it and chuck it as well.

ITV news was pathetic as well. Talked about Sophia with pronoun they, as a trans activist. I wish they'd use a photo of him.

I work for a large organisation all over the country. I came across a colleague I don’t know on Teams. I saw their picture with their bright coloured hair and unusual first name and thought ‘looks like a typical ‘non-binary’’ Sure enough, I checked their profile and their pronouns are ‘Mx’ 🙄

Funny how they want to be so different yet they all look the same!

The cheating b has apparently been disqualified, although I’m not buying their excuse that they had no idea he was a man. Are they claiming that not one of them has eyes?

I notice he has his jumper sleeves tied to hide his "ladydique". Cheating rum.

The Mail put in a Freedom of Information request about the cost of ‘trans healthcare’ and published an article about it. As of 2024-25, the NHS is estimated to be spending £100 million per year on ‘treatments’.

so following on from @ObservO, using ‘follow the money’, the real question becomes who is actually getting paid to do all this, using the NHS and the taxpayer for cover?

Typical the 1% didcate to the rest of us how many cancer operation could that have done never mind what else the rest of the NHS needs. We all have wants but we don't always get our wants.

Apparently been stripped of the title.
But only because he didn't tell them he was transgender beforehand. Ffs. Apparently if he'd been open and honest (and they'd used their bleeping eyes) it may have been allowed but because he withheld information he's been disqualified.
Hope they make a big deal of the real winner getting her prize.

ditto!! Maybe not ❄ but she certainly seemed jittery 💊
She was very jittery on the heretics podcast too. I actually managed to listen to it without throwing my phone out the window, although I did have to pause a couple of times to internally SCREEERREAM.
