I was so disappointed in that book, and in GA.
I was a huge Scully fan girl back in the day and was looking forward to reading this.
Genuinely the saddest and most wretched thing I've read in ages. Granted these are genuine stories, but where were the empowering stories? Where were the stories from women who were happy?
Nope, just misery. I get that it was an exercise in giving women a voice but there was nothing positive in it. And yes, there a couple of trans 'voices ' in there.
Like I said, disappointing.
I didn’t read any more pages after opening it on that one! I got the impression it was meant to be empowering though, but then read that fetished nonsense. (I saw it in the supermarket so after snapping the photo for you all, promptly put it back!).

I was thinking how this was actually an opportunity for TW to “pass” because all the stories are anonymous and they were accepting stories from TIMs. So if TWAW why did they have to mention they are trans?

We know why, of course.

I just caught a report on BBC 6 o’clock news about David Cameron revealing he had prostate cancer. They then had a bit of analysis on prostate cancer and clearly and explicitly said it ‘only affects men’. Yet Martine Croxhall is berated for correcting ‘pregnant people’.
On the plus side the BBC has publicly stated that transwomen are men. 🤷‍♀️

so it’ll stop when it stops being profitable.
Can someone who knows more about these things explain if this is how it’s taken such a hold over the NHS? Surely none of this has ever been profitable for them?!
I'm going to use some of the suspicions that were applied to the covid hysteria and agenda to the trans agenda. Much action was funded by just a few corporate billionaires who gave thousands of multi-million dollar grants to hundreds of big pharma research labs and medical research facilities via their 'philanthropic' charities - aka (legal) tax avoidance schemes. Through directing their funds to certain agendas, these so called philanthropists can drive all sorts of crazy agendas, apply social controls, or make and break particular markets. What they could be trying to do is gain agency and control in profit making areas and also capture global resources whilst dis-empowering entire populations and removing local politics from relevance.

It seems that these type of entities could be pushing the trans agenda. To prove this, we'd need to scrutinise where the funding for research and development of drugs, products, medical trials and training of medics is coming from. It doesn't come from 'the government', it gets funded by bodies with an agenda - social engineering, eugenics, global elitism, one world politics, captured citizens consuming their products etc.

Could call this conspiracy or could wonder if it's really true? Who knows, would have to dig out facts and evidence in a way that doesn't make one seem like a tin foil hat wearing loon.

I never used to be a conspiracy theorist. I used to feel mildly contemptuous of them - absolute crackers, God bless 'em!

I'm close to joining their ranks now

There are or were links somewhere on previous threads about how connected Big Pharma, especially those within the US, are towards Transgender medication and medical proceedures.

And having seen all the TV programmes about the drug Ocycotin, thinking of TV series like Painkiller on Netflix, where a particular drug company run by the Sackler family deliberately sold an addictive drug as a painkiller for the most innocent of injuries. Then spent years, raking money in whilst simultaneously denying that Oxycotin was extremely addictive and could cause unlimited harm and deaths. I too think trans medicine is extremely suspect.

I think there would have been a lot of free trials of trans medication and proceedures offered, then a few years down the line, people somehow in the US would have to find private funding to pay for the rest of their lifetime care.

The stories of people who know others who have accessed Transgender services on teh NHS are extremely sad, and a national scandal.

I would still nevertheless like to know the breakdown of costs, and exactly which trans gender medical services have been provided on the NHS. If they can do a breakdown across the UK for things like fertility services, often referred to as the postcode lottery of provision, then surely they could also provide a breakdown to consumers of which NHS trusts have paid out for Transgender medical services? And whether the majority of these were initial operations or operations to mitigate badly done or botched operations elsewhere?

If our money is being used to fund this kind of thing<I think we have a right to know the exact breakdowns.

The Mail put in a Freedom of Information request about the cost of ‘trans healthcare’ and published an article about it. As of 2024-25, the NHS is estimated to be spending £100 million per year on ‘treatments’.

I’d like to know how much the NHS spend on it too. It’s essentially a luxury treatment - plastic surgery and body modification. None of it should be on the taxpayer’s dime.

A man has ‘won’ the World’s Strongest Women competition. Said man is also an adult film actor 🤢.

Former World Strongman, Mitchell Hooper, has spoken out about it on his YouTube channel. He is the father of two daughters and speaks about the unfairness of denying the rightful winner, Andrea Thompson, her medal. Thompson walks off the second place podium in disgust.

If you really want to know how appalling the OxyContin scandal is I would recommend reading Empire of Pain which is the story of the Sackler family. I’ve been deeply suspicious of Big Pharma ever since.

If you want to see just how unscrupulous a lot of doctors can be then I recommend The Pharmacist on Netflix. It’s about the OxyContin scandal and how doctors prescribed them knowing full well the dangers of it all.

Exactly. Take Webberly for example. The nature of the grift may change, the grifter does not.

Helen Webberley is a bleeping hole. The way she always sounds like she's on the verge of tears and her daft hand movements make her even more unlikeable.

I thought she seemed quite flustered in this discussion.
