I’ve unfollowed her on Instagram, but still subbed on YouTube. Although, I haven’t watched her recent videos. Ever since she has moved into the new house and even when it was on the horizon her content went down hill. The house is a show home, you don’t have display cushions on a sideboard in a hallway or books you don’t read just for the aesthetic. I must admit when I moved into my house I wanted it to look like a show home, cleaning constantly and making everything look ‘just so’ but in the end it gets you down, and is unobtainable. In a few months time she may realise that and start using her house as a home.

Well I usually quite enjoy these decorating videos, but this was the most depressing I've ever watched, no love or festive cheer at all in this video.

Wheres Jamie? Does he not help? Why didn't she show the whole putting up of the tree and adding all the decroations around the house, she could have made like an hour long video out out of it but no, she just stroked some chocolates and put a bauble on a tree ffs

Yet again, all for the gram, had to be a perfect little video, it was strange from start to finish. Yes where was Jamie? He works for himself surely he could have helped. No real cheer or feeling behind it. Imagine putting your tree up now though, what is there to look forward to come December? She will be taking it down before New Year at this rate. Have you all noticed the light up reindeers too .... exactly like Elle's? Makes me sick, these influencers get them for free in return for the ad and us mere mortals have to pay extortianate (think that's not right spelling lol) price if we want to purchase. No thanks.

If that was my house she was using for her background, I would just stand outside til she fucked back off to her own end. Maybe just wear something colourful to ruin her aesthetics.

I genuinely have so much concern for her, she seems like she's really lost herself and her personality in being an influencer, she touched on it a little in her 'what colours for christmas' discussion but I think there is seriously more that she needs to unpack, I think she's obviously very concerned about what people think of her and worried about sticking to this beige brand of herself that she's created (that no one even wants tbh we want realness) that she's forgotten who she is and what she actually likes and how she wants to behave.

I have concerns that Jamie is also a part of this, they seem to play happy families on YT but there's something about him that seems very possessive and makes me uncomfortable, she's definitely shrinking herself since she got with him.

Maybe she is also struggling since her dads death and also in general just being home ALL the time, not seeing anyone and not really doing anything - we all felt it during lockdown I wouldn't be surprised if her mental health was tanking from this lifestyle.

Whatever it is for the sake of herself and her career she needs to address it and make some big changes..

I'd also like to be recommended some channels that are actually going to have colour and fun content this Christmas - I hate people trying to make Christmas into something from an interiors magazine, put on your ugly jumper, fill your tree with ornaments that are fun and nostalgic and spend the season socialising ffs

Must admit if I was her mum I'd be more than a little worried. I looked back on the old instagram account she had with Charlie and she was so different. I know it's over 3 years ago and we all change, but her voice/accent is so different now. Also she wore lovely clothes back then, none of these baggy oversized shirts/shackets/jumpers that she now favours. She has a gorgeous little figure. Im not saying go OTT but bring back some of the old Gemma. She seems so tired alately, just not herself. Reach out and get help Gemma if you need it.

I would never buy clothes from an influencer's brand on Instagram, too much risk. They have poor quality control, bad customer service, and hardly any of them care about making or sourcing the materials sustainably and ethically. My go-to for loungewear is Oysho.

I did have a nosey at the line because I would like a big comfy sweatshirt to wear when working from home and was intrigued to see if they are as amazing and soft as she makes out - the sweatshirt has ‘manifesting club’ in massive letters on the front, I can’t imagine anything more embarrassing not a bit of me

The field backs on to a very busy dual carriageway.. it’s not as private as she makes it out to be, you can see her house when driving down there.

Credit where its due .. the tree does actually look nice. Not original or Gemma's usual taste I'll admit, but I'd have that in my house.

The video itself however is just dull. Its the first I've watched in a while, she's like a stepford wife. Doing everything to a certain aesthetic and to please other people rather than just being herself. She's clearly bored and very lonely. It's not very nice to watch.

Wow. Her new video was the most boring one I’ve seen yet. It’s so obvious her morning routine isn’t about going to work or doing anything afterwards. She does all that shit to to sit in the house all day. She wakes up, drinks pumpkin spice coffee, does a pumpkin spice face mask and reads a book for 10 minutes. Is this why she was so excited for autumn?

Just watched the decorate your Xmas tree vid she has just put up - when she caressed the celebrations box absolute killed me . she was looking for a malteser but there were two clearly in front of her, she didnt need to stroke them all ahhaha

I just watched it too. Was so short. Yes that bit with the celebrations was so unnecessary and cringe. Points for not using that dreadful christmas song they all use though. The one that starts with 'it's cold outside' drives me mental.

I have to confess - Gemma was one of my guilty pleasure YouTubers to watch - to be honest only really dipped in an out at the seasonal times. I didn't even realise there was a thread on here about her!! The Christmas tree decorating video lured me in here - what the actual f*ck was that sh*t show... and the tree just doesn't go with who she is as a person. I wish some of these YouTubers were more proud of who they were and what they liked - but her tree has to match the aesthetic of her new house, and so does the rest of her whole life, and I find that really sad. There must be not a whole great deal going on in your life when your whole world is that of being 'cozy'.

I was watching her decorating for autumn video and I saw the Starbucks pumpkin spice coffee, searched it on Amazon because I wanted some and it’s £25 for that tiny bag! Why would you spend £25 on coffee when you can go to homesense and get a pumpkin spice syrup for £4, more money than sense

Just had a quick look know the Girl of Muse website .... soooo much stock left in lots of different sizes. What a flop. Comparing this with Elle Darbys brand, she always sells out of near enough everything in minutes. Wondering if the issue is that Gemmas content is so poor, not many are left supporting her anymore maybe. I used to love watching Gemma, but haven't watched her in ages now it's all so boring and ad's in EVERYTHING. And she just seems so uncommitted now and fake. I watched her before she even had her YouTube when she used to do her lives on Instagram, she's changed so much and just boring now

I think it’s more everyone knows it isn’t Gemmas brand… it’s Jamie’s.
