He has shown his backyard and yes their house is exactly like Daisy and Onslows, most council houses are built from the same plan (even new builds estates are basically the same with a larger kitchen and more loos) so that's not surprising. And I have friends now getting 400K mortgages to buy one of them so he better get into the will and get that house lol I wouldn't think it's as shabby on the outside but his bedroom is on the way to Hoarders level.

My parents live in the same type of house and if you don't use something for 6 months my mam throws it out! No stacks of boxes or clutter allowed in her rooms!

Wanting to get diagnosed with things is a symptom of being deep in a victim’s state of mind. I kid you not I’ve known people fuming that they got a clean bill of health because they wanted a condition that would explain away their laziness and would get them out of work or onto the disability. It’s very sad.

This is exactly it. He wants to be sick. It’s not only as an excuse for how he had messed up his entire life, it’s also for the attention and sympathy.

I don’t wish it to happen, but one day he may have something truly chronic and will wish for those days where he was not suffering.

he also admitted it was too much the last trip and his mental health had been low since.
There is also no diagnosis for his legs , I always imagined he had leg ulcers for something but no the doctor has no idea !

watching that documentary was an eye opener he nothing has changed in ten plus years apart from him now being a Disney fanatic.

OK. I earn a reasonably good wage but can only afford to go to the USA every few years. I do Florida but usually a few days at Universal but not Disney as it all adds up. So how does Mr Anxiety who does not work afford multiple trips a year and manage airport situations, attention seeking and crowded parks? He must be in his 40's? Does he still live at home?

I wonder how Gary’s brother feels about his brother (not sure if older or younger) being stuck up in a bedroom in his parents house.

Wonder what will happen as the parents get older and potentially need cared for. Will Gary step up and fulfill this role or will he still be scarpering off on a Disney cruise to perform karaoke when on a normal day, he’s too anxious to leave his house.

Here's what I've seen happen in my world.

In these situations, the siblings often say nothing because it's what they know and in the back of their heads they are aware that it's not normal but they are not going to go over and open that can of worms, upset their parents, become the bad guy, fracture the family etc so they get along. I know people married into families where the uncle upstairs is never discussed between husband and wife. He's just there, it's all left unsaid and the spouse is never told of any diagnosis beyond 'his nerves bless'

The parents do tend to get left home with this person and the other siblings are usually okay with this because what's the alternative? The alternative is the one who speaks up gets left with the parent(s) and then possibly the brother after they're gone. Much easier to keep the lips glued, maybe your parents stay home and get inadequate care but you're not on the hook for any responsibility. Brother upstairs can also be used as a babysitter and petsitter. In one case I know of, the brother upstairs had to shove over and let his older brother share his bed after the wife threw him out. The mother was running upstairs with 2 cooked breakfasts every morning.

So I know the pandemic has probably messed up a lot of this but what were the options for Brits who wanted to work in Disney? I know Adam and aclareytale have videos of living in some sort of dormitory and working in food service. Is that the only program or could someone like Gary go over and get work in props or in entertainment? Just thinking out loud I suppose but wondering if there would be an opportunity there for someone like Gary to go over and get paid work experience with props or performing or would international applications be restricted to certain job areas or restricted by age limits?

I came across this utterly annoying Cunt from Adams videos, but seeing his background he’s an utter waste of space. Can spend others money and is able to go on holiday (more times than people earning a lot each year but are in the adult grown up world) but he can’t get a job.

If I was 42 living in my parents room(which frankly wouldn’t happen as one is dead and the other might as well be) I’d probably book a one way flight to Switzerland and visit Dignitas

A lot of us have anxiety, work in the field etc and understand that one diagnosis does not fit all, but if he can be a performer in a 5* hotel and travel to the US to do YT, brag about spending thousands on Disney tat, then of course his claim of social anxiety will raise questions. What does he expect?

Oh yes I don’t disagree with you, it doesn’t look good, but I just don’t think it’s fair for people to throw statements around like “he’s dressed as a pumpkin in Disney therefore he can’t possibly have anxiety (be that social anxiety or any other form)” as its a misinformed point of view. That would technically be the viewer’s problem due to their lack of understanding of anxiety, as opposed to Gary lying about it

I think what most people take umbrage to is him seemingly having no earned income and then splashing the cash left right and centre on Disney and Disney merch which I TOTALLY understand, especially if he is on extra benefits for mental health issues. And I think that’s what riles a lot of us up about these “influencers” is that so many of them doss about doing fuck all and rake the money in and pretend it’s really overwhelming and hard when they have no idea how the rest of society functions

I wonder how much Adam earns from his videos. Is it possible he not only gives Gary a free trip but gives him a cut of the earnings from the videos? Which is how Gary then affords merch etc?

Im a bit skeptical of him claiming PIP or extra universal credit for his anxiety as well, it’s not easy to get and stay on these days, as another poster has pointed out. I wonder if he maybe just claims the usual bog standard UC rate, doesn’t come clean about earnings from Adam (if they exist), and keeps his social media work to under a certain amount per month to avoid his UC payments being cancelled.

No amount of money or holidays would let my “friend” speak to me like a piece of shit on their shoe for entertainment purposes anyway!!!!

Not sure but his brother is a managing engineer and goes to Disney a lot with his wife and kids too (doesn’t invite uncle Gary lol). His mum probably stays at home. She posts about his brother on fb, but never about Gary.

I don’t think they pay much! I think from his money (aka the dole) he saves it all for Disney, 100% he doesn’t pay his parents anything, bet Adam pays for Gary’s transport to the airport. He doesn’t have an expensive phone anymore so that can’t be much. Doesn’t seem to go anywhere except Disney so I bet he has a nice little pot somewhere and don’t forget every so often he pumps out some shitty “artwork” and will be getting money from YouTube (not alot but more than you think)
