Do you walk around Walt Disney World dressed as a pumpkin?

I'm not making light of anxiety, because I have plenty of patients (and a spouse) who have very debilitating anxiety and panic attacks. But almost all of them also do what they can--medication with or without talk therapy--that helps them function in society. Gary never seems to do ANYTHING aside from buy overpriced shit and travel. He doesn't even do his own cooking or washing.

He's not working on his anxiety, he's reveling in it.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but everyone experiences anxiety differently and Gary might not have issues if he's "performing" as such. Hence why he can do stupid stuff like that with what appears to be little issue.
Please don't take my thinking out loud stuff the wrong way, I think it is wrong what he does and he should pull his finger out and act like an adult when he's not in Performance mode. I just like a bit of armchair psychology when it comes to influencers 😅

If your “friend” took you on an all-expenses paid trip to Disney, wouldn’t you at the very least buy dinner one of the nights to say thank you? Or maybe get up early to get the coffees and croissants in?
Can’t expect Gary to spend his other people’s money on that kind of stuff. He’s got disposable consumer junk to purchase.

Easy to find his full address if you just search his name and Orpington and it does look like that 🤣🤣
Very modest house and car outside. I don’t think his parents are loaded. House is worth 200-300k.

I wonder how Gary’s brother feels about his brother (not sure if older or younger) being stuck up in a bedroom in his parents house.

Wonder what will happen as the parents get older and potentially need cared for. Will Gary step up and fulfill this role or will he still be scarpering off on a Disney cruise to perform karaoke when on a normal day, he’s too anxious to leave his house.

If the estate he lives on is one of those where people know eachother, I bet he is known locally as the weird/creepy/oddball type guy. What was once quirky when young, just becomes problematic as you age
The kind of bloke that parents have to tell their children to stay away from

I’m sure he uses emotional manipulation on his family. Poor mother is full of guilt over his circumstances. I used to feel bad for him, but now I realize how many of his actions are genuinely evil.

lShame on his parents for allowing it.
I understand how it came to this. There’s 5 or 6 lads on my parents estate in the 40-60 age group living just like Gary. At one time the parents thought they were protecting their child and giving them the best of bad options (available at the time) but at some point you do need to get cruel to be kind as the parent. You do need to force them into independence and get help for their condition. Living at home even a minimum wage job could make Gary very comfortable in a few short years. He could easily stash away thousands a year and the confidence having a job would build means that he would by himself gravitate to getting out and about, taking care of himself etc but when it’s gone this far then the whole family dynamic would have to be busted apart and rebuilt. People don’t like change, people in dysfunctional families like it even less.

Lol halloween is in two weeks. This feels a little late. People have been buying halloween stuff for weeks. He should have been editing and uploading while he was away.

If I was either of them I would be really worried about my future, surely they can't be mincing and shrieking around theme parks in five years time.....let alone ten!?!?

Nope. Adam pays for everything except for Gary's souvenirs. He (Gary) mentioned it on one of his IG lives. Not a bad gig for him at all.
Omg I’m really shocked at this however it is a business arrangement at the end of the day as Adams vlogs get more engagement with Gary in them. What a life though… not paying for anything; I’d be embarrassed

I’m sure he’s been reported to DWP loads of times. I do wonder if he gets benefits? We know for sure his parents give him money for washing the dishes, he even tweeted it 🤣🤣

He is a good singer for that kind of thing, but average to go beyond that. Plus his performance with arms etc make it hard to take him seriously, and makes it appear that its a joke to him
