Oh man, I’m so happy for them, but of all the people in the world you could admire, they pick him?

The parents are enablers and are funding the shopping because even if he got every benefit going he still would struggle to come up with the money he spent on this haul.

I do understand why/how his parents let it get to this point. I know some real life Garys but at his age it’s no longer cute and I agree with the person who said that it’s not 1980 anymore. There are work from home jobs out there that pay well. There are employers who will hire people who need accommodations. There is funding for education. His parents would need to be cruel to he kind and pull out the rug but tbh I’ve never known a family to do this. I image they fear for the “child’s” life in the short term. The big fear is that the “child” would melt down at being forced to pay rent/do a course/look for a job and they’d do something silly.

I believe in a generous benefits system. Its the right thing to do.

I dont belive for a second Gary C should not be in employment. Or at least trying to be in employment.

That’s sickening, I thought they were doing it to get to the front of the line. It’s funny how he could walk just fine after they left Disney.
Chairs don't get you to the front of the line, you have to go in the regular queue, and be pushed through it in the chair.

What does get you to the front is the Disability Access Service (DAS), which he also requests for (god knows what he tells them!) his ailments.

I would just be so embarrassed to have my friend pay for everything while I moaned that it was too much and spent hundreds on useless pins.

He doesn’t use his legs or his body for that matter so he’s losing his mobility. What a sad state of affairs. Get your lazy ass out of bed and walk! It’s not that hard!
Rarely uses his brain too. The only time he doesn’t act like a child is when he acts like an expert on obscure Disney merch shit. He doesn’t realise that no one else knows this info because no one else cares. .

What I’m earth will he do when his parents are no longer able to fund him. And I know he has Adam at this time but I think once Adam finds a boyf (if this isn’t Gary), then there won’t be so many trips to Orlando with Ghosty C.
In time Adam will surely Ghosty Gary 👻
Gary actually said yesterday that one day it’ll get too much for him and Adam will have to use someone else (like Beth I think he said?). As if only Adam is benefiting from their relationship.

Honestly, then what will he do then? Where will his money come from?

I think his life is really sad tbh. Yes he goes to disney a few times a year for a couple weeks at a time but that is pretty much it. He literally just exists in his bedroom every single day.
Honestly, if he wants to improve his physical activity he should help his mum out as the bear minimum, not fuck about on a treadmill.

I remember just wanting to do my own chores I.e wash my own clothes at 12/13 and not liking my mum do it. It’s a natural urge to be semi-independent. I can’t get my head around it.

Anxiety is different for everyone and none of us know his triggers really however I would like to know what he doesn't manage to do because of it, we see what he can do so I assume he must have bad days which means he can't get out of bed and has to cancel his plans
This is true, but things just don’t add him. He said specifically it’s social anxiety. By very definition it’s a fear is social situations, but that’s all he does. And as @Mark81 has said, he never seems to struggle when it’s what he wants to do. When he makes this his whole personality, you’d think he’d at least document those time. He never turns an event down.

I had SA from a child to my early 20s and had therapy. I constantly canceled social situations because I just couldn’t do it even though I wanted to. It has gotten much better with age, I’m still on meds, but function as an adult and in a job where I do client calls all day long. I worked hard to get to this place. No way would I have ever entertained the thought of going to drama school. Drama lessons at school were the single worst hour of my week.

I suspect he did have issues, but because he’s now grown up so sheltered, the thought of a job or living independently scares him to death because he doesn’t know how to do it.

After 2 weeks in Disney, id love to have the opportunity to have 4 days in my bed. Not saying id want truly crippling depression like some folks who are bed/home ridden but Gary doesn’t have this, he can come and go as he pleases when it takes his fancy. He can go into central London, Centre Parks, busy airports and Orlando. Gary is just a man of leisure and this lifestyle is surely making his mental health and leg problems worse.

I hope if he has any income - he pays some form of rent to his parents as if he can spend £hundreds every couple of months on pins, funkos and Nuimos, he can contribute to their utilities.

He cant do those things because he’s never had to. He hasn’t grown up because he hasn’t had to.
Bet his mum calls the dr to make an appointment. That was nerve wrecking when you’re a teen. If he had spent the last 20 years doing this himself, he’d be fine now.

Why? Would a grown man living off of his parents to the tune of a 35K DVC contract after sitting on his rump for 2 years have a moral objection to someone allegedly spending a meager disability allowance on pins? If Adam didn't have the bank of mom and dad he'd be working in KFC and getting fired for calling some drunk girl the c-word when she asks him where her wings are 🤔😉

I would say adam is more disliked on Tattle so good luck to him going solo.
No I fully agree (love the bit about kfc!) But because he’s such a massive snake he would be the type to happily throw Gary under the bus!
