Adam seemed to be making so many more comments about Gary's spending in that vlog. Is he finally catching on to him being a grifter? Lots of "how much is that?" and snarky expressions.

I wish someone would. One of the best things about getting old is seeing how the people you grew up with turned out - there’s always a shocker like how that guy you used to fancy looks now I definitely went to school with a few Garys, still living at home, working on that dream that was sold to us millennials that we could be anything

One girl I worked with has a Tattle thread, but I don’t want to be identified (this ain’t my name!) so I don’t post on her thread but it’s hilarious to read. It’s not quite as juicy as knowing them pre-‘fame’ though.

I had no idea that was a thing or that you could buy outfits like that. Didn’t pay attention and thought it was just some cheapo toy from the pound shop that he was lugging around embarrassing himself.

It’s really quite frightening to see how strongly some of you associate societal value with productivity under capitalism lol.

If he was self reliant then he can get on and do what he likes. But he isn't.

And what societal value does he have sat in his room counting pins?! He isn't contributing to society financially in the form of taxes, or in any practical way such as volunteering.

I have family on benefits who are disabled and would LOVE to be able to work. In any capacity, even volunteering but sadly it's just not possible. I am not anti benefits at all, but I am pro doing as much as you can to help yourself.

Also, if no one had a job and acted like him there would be no taxes to support him

It’s a worry his friends haven’t spoken to him about any of it… if that was my friend I’d be saying I was concerned.

I don’t think he takes criticism well. Thinks no one understands what he’s dealing with lol. He blocked someone on a live a few days ago for just saying the vlogs were boring.

I have depression and anxiety but when I go to London which is my happy place i hide it it doesn’t go away but I feel more content. I don’t hide away either I have a full time job and save and save so I can travel which I actually do on my own. Maybe Gary does have troubles bug he isn’t doing himself any favours

I sort of get if you were to collect figurines or something and have them scattered around your house (although that wouldn’t be my personal aesthetic whatsoever), put what is the point of “collecting” something purely to shove it in some drawer or container?

Yes all of them are in shoeboxes with the original cardboard attached. He spent £800 on pins just on one trip.
He just collects everything, funko pop, storybook ornaments, souvenir coins, tsum tsum, nuimos, Mickey Mouse plushies, Harry Potter pins.

Then has his parents pay the bills and buy all his food (unless when with Adam, then adam pays). He really disgusts me so much.

But there is a difference between a little jokey thing between family and this sort of expected present and acting like a legitimate child. Its sad and kind of creepy.

True; my Dads now disabled after a stroke and it infuriates me when I see people parking in disabled spaces, etc who don’t need it. I do believe in karma though… one IG person I follow, her and her mate went to the gym and used someone’s blue badge to park in a disabled space there. I called them out and of course was just blocked which was given but I also emailed the gym and got no response. Anyway, months later, she had one of these bum lift ops and it went wrong so she was literally in pain and having to lie on her front for weeks (couldn’t work and she has her own business), has numerous more ops to rectify what the surgeon had done and unfortunately she seems fine now however I did have a big smile when that happened to her as for a while, as she couldn’t do anything, she would’ve had a slight inclination as to what is what like to not actually be able to walk, etc

That’s exactly it and why i don’t feel sorry for him. He doesn’t work because he wants to perform or do nothing. He went to Sylvia Young as a child and did drama at uni. Then leeched onto these YouTube stars.
He is depressed because it didn’t work out. So everyone else has to pander to him.
