Birth vlog out. Would have appreciated a tiny bit more blurring - especially when the nurse was cutting the umbilical cord and he just full on has the camera over the curtain. I don't think Raya had even been closed up yet?

Also, when given the baby to hold he literally legs it over to Raya. You're holding a literal newborn. Slow tf down lol, he could have tripped so easily at that speed

I also didn’t really agree with how close he got with the camera with no blurring of Neo’s privates, only on one occasion was it blurred. There’s some weirdos on the internet and the last thing you’d want is for your child’s pen to be plastered on to it, surely?! Feel like perhaps the editing was a rushed job, which is a shame as it could have been well thought out and edited nicely.

They posted a video about the first month with Neo. Louis seems to be a blissful, charming dad, while Raya alternately looks extremely happy and extremely over it. I guess she is struggling more, and it shows. They had parents staying with them for the first three weeks.

Does anyone else find it brutal that Raya and Louis seem to expect Neo to travel enough within five years to fill 48 pages of his passport? 32 would have been more than enough in my opinion, but they appear to be intending to travel at least as much as they used to. Aside from being total hypocrites in terms of sustainability and environmentalism, it seems as if they are expecting Neo to adapt to their preferred lifestyle more than they are planning to adapt to his needs. They said that they want to spend only half the year in Costa Rica because of the weather. I wonder how Neo is going to feel, having to leave his familiar surroundings and friends every few months. Raya and Louis just seem super immature and selfish.

I completely agree. That said, they won’t be the first new parents to talk absolute balls about the sort of parents they are going to be and then realise as their child grows up and comes into their personality that it just won’t work. They might have to feed him non-vegan food for example, they just don’t know yet.

I reckon Costa Rica is an unsolved problem for them….I think he loves it but she’s gone off it. The other members of their “community” in CR are not the hippy dippy Youtubers among whom Louis is a god, they are tough high-powered business people to whom L&R are small fry to be bossed about. I think she’s gone off the idea and tbh so would I.

Also where’s all the money going to come from to build their “tree house“? The big money days for Louis, plus the deeply annoying Kara and Nate, are behind them, Youtube is a different beast now. I watched the cocky mats power boarding “to France” aka round the bay in Kent, the views aren’t that high, rich kids flying around playing with super expensive toys leaves a bad taste in the COL crisis, not to mention the English Channel full of desperate immigrants while they zoom around flying the US flag. He should go and get a job in a digital game or video company, there are some great ones in Brighton. Raya, make friends with moms and build your local network, don’t plan world domination any time soon.

So Kinging it ended their video saying that they're off to Bali where they're renting a villa for a 12 Youtuber vacation meet-up.
Flying the nest have already arrived and I'm guessing the other Youtubers are Kara and Nate, Eamon and Bec and Raya and Louis. The last time they did this, Raya and Louis more than tripled their views and posted nothing but these narcissistic Q&As for 3 months they got out of it.

Just came across these guys from eamon and beca channel (who recently I’ve really gone off as they don’t seem genuine at all anymore) and oh my, I started with the most recent q and q about having a baby, having just also had one my husband and I couldn’t stop rolling our eyes at all the crap coming out of their mouths lol going to take a good scroll back on this thread, did they only just meet eamon and bec on that boat where eamon arrived with covid? And now they’re all besties staying together? Also that sail across the channel, which wasn’t across the channel it was around the local bay just really didn’t sit right seeing there’s people dying trying to get across it daily, where are all their heads at?! I just had a look at Raya's Youtube channel. Not only has she not uploaded a video for over two years, she also didn't follow up on her announcement to film a pregnancy diary. She probably never had any kind of work ethic. I can't believe she claims to have worked full time right up to the pregnancy / birth. She probably thinks traveling with Louis is her job.

Just popping in to say that this guy is an absolute tool.

There was a video of his I watched a few years ago where he came back to the UK temporarily after some time abroad. He’d been sent a court summons because he hadn’t paid an outstanding driving fine (or something like that) and he acted like a complete man child. Having a strop that - shock horror - the rules applied to him too. Sulking. Moaning. Getting his dad to drive him everywhere. Exactly the behaviour you’d expect from a middle-aged white man with dreadlocks who doesn’t have a proper job.

I think she‘s been posting on the Raya and Louis channel for a while now. Plenty of princess whining and disregard for the baby’s privacy….
Still, once they live with Kara and Nate they won‘t be the most annoying people on the screen

Don't most people who actually want kids know/accept that they won't get to do most things they used to do? Most parents wouldn't be surprised that they can't go abroad or travel for probably years, let alone 6-8 months lol

I get that travelling is their 'shtick' but they're seeming pretty entitled. Let the kid have some stability and routine ffs

eta - just watched that bit of the vid. She's upset that her son won't be able to visit Bulgaria this year? He's not dying lol. He has many many many more years to visit - and actually remember it. The great grandparents have already visited. She's so bloody dramatic

They've been on what - 5 or 6 vacations just during the pregnancy months?
How about exploring the country you currently live in but have seen nothing of. I guess the lake district, Cornwall or coastal Wales isn't fancy enough for princess Raya who is suffering so much in her big house at the beach with no responsibilities.

And I don't see how they reconcile their constant flying and ensuing massive carbon footprint (they probably take more flights in a year than most people do in a lifetime) with the fact that climate change is already showing horrendous effects, and their son's future is jeopardized because of it.

That's actually a really good point about climate change. They are so preachy when it comes to sustainability etc, but don't seem to realise that they are actively contributing towards climate change? So they want to spend half the time in the UK and half in Costa Rica, plus the other tons of travelling to other countries? That's so many unecessary flights, especially if he doesn't remember most of it.

If they didn't make their whole image 'LeTs SaVe ThE pLaNeT gUyZzZ' I don't think I'd be judging them as much lol

I totally agree with both of you. It's so entitled and selfish. It's also so narcissistic because it's all about what they want and not about what's actually best for the kid. It's so irritating how she's projecting (or lying) her feelings on to the baby as if she's upset for her son, when really SHE is upset SHE can't go to Bulgaria.

And not only will the kid not remember anything, but they'd also be exposing the kid (who doesn't have a fully functioning immune system yet!) to different potential illnesses, including COVID. Plus traveling just puts unnecessary stress on the kid (and also the other people on the flight).

It also says A LOT about them as a couple that they can't just stay home and be content with each other. They have to constantly distract themselves and run away from their lives in order to feel okay. They both also seem emotionally stunted, like they haven't moved on from their 20s. Big red flag.

Because they are idiots. They are setting themselves up for being burgled by always leaving one place unattended for months on end. Their life is so high maintenance, requiring lots of long distance flights, storage, leaving humidifiers running for months, having cars and buses all over the place. It's decadent and unsustainable. I can't believe they still need to save money to build their house. You would have thought that would be their priority considering they have a deadline to start building. I guess they are going to do lots of ads. Gross. What a way to live.
