I remember his FoodForLouis channel, then he turned vegan. I forgot that Louis existed until I saw him and Raya's engagement video

I used to watch Louis' vlogs years ago, got a bit bored of the couple vlogs they do, so only really check back now and again. I was shocked that they were actively trying for a baby when they don't even have a secure home. That would have been one of the first things you would tick off before bringing a kid into the picture surely?

Are they gonna leave the baby with Raya's parents while they go swanning off back to Costa Rica to 'check on their future home'? Like they left the dog? Raya obviously wants to be a good mum, so you'd think safety and security (aka not being homeless) would be her main priority.

Bit of an idiotic move if you ask me, but hey ho.

I know! It was madness especially when they are moving so far away and not just putting it all in a removal van up the road.

I can't wait to see this new house. Seeing them visit it and then deciding they might want a bedroom upstairs even tho there's no walls planned and maybe an en suite. And literally no spaces for getting kids to play or have their own room.
It's wild that they're building a massive house, but there are no rooms for the children in the building plans. And them saying that the rotten, mouldy bus could be their playroom, while all Raya could talk (and dream) about, was turning that space upstairs into her own meditation and crafts room, is just unbelievable and selfish to me. There's no way I would ever expose a child to damp mould, rust and wood splinters.

How can they keep doing this?! I get a few tweaks might pop up after you've finalised the general layout but they are literally changing the whole layout, how many stories, how many bedrooms, bathrooms etc etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the architect drops them! I can just see now if things aren't how they want it, they will blame the language barrier or something. It won't be Raya and Louis fault of course...

Why didn't they draw out a few options or make some houses on the Sims or something? !
I know, it's a whole new house now the bus is gone. Three new rooms downstairs and upstairs - 6 new rooms!! My fav bit was when they walked into the bedroom and Louis was looking for something that had been done and then realized it had been done wrong 😂

They seemed like they were short on money before so I've no idea where this new cash is coming from. And they haven't even tackled the "garden" which is currently completely unsafe for the kids.

Does anyone else find it brutal that Raya and Louis seem to expect Neo to travel enough within five years to fill 48 pages of his passport? 32 would have been more than enough in my opinion, but they appear to be intending to travel at least as much as they used to. Aside from being total hypocrites in terms of sustainability and environmentalism, it seems as if they are expecting Neo to adapt to their preferred lifestyle more than they are planning to adapt to his needs. They said that they want to spend only half the year in Costa Rica because of the weather. I wonder how Neo is going to feel, having to leave his familiar surroundings and friends every few months. Raya and Louis just seem super immature and selfish.

At the end of that video Raya showed the worst side of herself - smug and superior. They have bought themselves in with those people (just), it’s nothing to be so superior about. Notice the complete lack of sympathy given for the bereaved “community member” she was so happy to have something she felt she could brag about,

The story about “rumours” about a road was nonsense, they are trying to extract themselves from that place. They’d go and talk to Steve the capitán of Alegria and say what are you going to do about some alleged road going through our lot that we paid you for, if they wanted to fix it. Since when did Raya care about “hurting tree roots”? She’s as urban as they come. There aren’t even any trees, those are basically twigs. That land is so fertile it can be razed to the ground and it will all grow back over the rainy season.

At least they didn’t criticise the UK in this one, it really annoys me when they do that as they will be milking the NHS for all it’s worth when they have the baby.
Yes, they don't really care about the environment. You always see them carrying their shopping in different plastic bags they just got, getting their food and drinks with single use cups, plates, and cutlery. And while some of these things may be produced using somewhat eco friendly materials, it's still waste, especially if you live next door and just go there every day because you are too lazy to cook. Just bring your own bags, maybe even your own fork! They are just going to scavenge off the land until they are bored, or the land is bled dry. Not to mention their many flights.

At the rate he's going, I really don't see Louis making it to New York before Christmas. He seems to be breaking down at least once a day. I can see him hopping on a plane to travel the rest of the way, negating the whole "eco" angle of this trip.

They made a small child a feature in their gender reveal vlog. They are probably going to exploit the shit out of their own child and milk the baby and child content for all it's worth. :-(

🙄 OMG. Raya "broke down" because she might not be able to travel for six to eight months. She's such a greedy, entitled person. They have no idea how privileged their life has been. And what's the point of flying Neo all over the place at this age? He won't be able to remember anything.
Don't most people who actually want kids know/accept that they won't get to do most things they used to do? Most parents wouldn't be surprised that they can't go abroad or travel for probably years, let alone 6-8 months lol

I get that travelling is their 'shtick' but they're seeming pretty entitled. Let the kid have some stability and routine ffs

eta - just watched that bit of the vid. She's upset that her son won't be able to visit Bulgaria this year? He's not dying lol. He has many many many more years to visit - and actually remember it. The great grandparents have already visited. She's so bloody dramatic
I totally agree with both of you. It's so entitled and selfish. It's also so narcissistic because it's all about what they want and not about what's actually best for the kid. It's so irritating how she's projecting (or lying) her feelings on to the baby as if she's upset for her son, when really SHE is upset SHE can't go to Bulgaria.

And not only will the kid not remember anything, but they'd also be exposing the kid (who doesn't have a fully functioning immune system yet!) to different potential illnesses, including COVID. Plus traveling just puts unnecessary stress on the kid (and also the other people on the flight).

It also says A LOT about them as a couple that they can't just stay home and be content with each other. They have to constantly distract themselves and run away from their lives in order to feel okay. They both also seem emotionally stunted, like they haven't moved on from their 20s. Big red flag.

Worthing, West Sussex, if his company's address is that of his parents. He said they live 40 minutes away from Brighton.
Ooft, so they're not in the clear yet then haha
It's funny how they make out they're so adventurous and unconventional, so daring and free, and yet, when it comes down to it, they are as stuffy and bourgeois as the next person, maybe more so in Raya's case. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the baby is going to have a stable environment at least for a while, but it just goes to show how quickly they divert from their path and turn their back on everything they have been raving about for the last years. They are just tourists taking the scenic route, not trailblazers or adventurers.
Exactly! There's always some... middle-upper class element of what they end up doing? I suppose that's easy to do when you have the money though. It's definitely better for the baby, but yeah, I agree. Definitely a glorified tourist.

I'm not against home schooling if it's down right, but I just can't imagine them having the time each day to sit down and actually teach the kids stuff.

I remember a while back Raya said something about taking the kids to Thailand for example so they can do a project on it. But what about reading and writing and all the basics that require a lot of time and effort.

The fact they didn't even consider a room for the kids in the new house was a huge red flag. Where are all their books and toys?

So I hadn't actually watched the full video when I commented so I see Louis did do some sort of 3d render but still ! You can tell the architects/ construction team are getting frustrated. Someone commented on the video saying something along the lines of " your architects deserve a gift when they're done" and Raya replied saying " their gift is our life savings" 🙈
Ah, yes. The words of a woman who grew up with a silver spoon and has never done any physical labor in all her life.

Of course she thinks that these workers on minimum wage should just effortlessly adapt to princess Raya changing her mind of the layout weekly, undoing their previous work.

After all, she's paying with the hard earned money that their patrons send them while she's chilling in the pool, watching the hired help tend to the crop, so she can show up on Tuesday with a shopping bag and collect her "home grown" veg and fruit.

I think he’s clinging onto those dreads cause he knows that as soon as they’re gone, he’s balding

I f*cking hate when couples say "WE are pregnant." No. SHE is pregnant and SHE will birth the child. There's no 50/50 in that, and men need to stop claiming ownership over pregnancy. It's also scientifically inaccurate.

There are better phrases to use that include the dad, such as "we are expecting" or "we're having a baby." The paternity of the child is also already implied because they're married and making the announcement together. 🙄

If he has to hit the breaks just once, the dog (and so many other things) will go flying through the front window.

Why is the dog not strapped in? Why is the dog not with Raya where it's not stuck in a car 23 hours a day?
I was actually surprised that the police officer didn't say anything about Cali frantically moving around the front seats. Maybe they don't care about animal safety in the US.

Watching them walk about the house for the first time and talk about how small some rooms are is hilarious! Honestly they are so out of touch talking about the bathroom which looks huge!

Does anyone else think part of there reason for moving back to the UK is because they don't want to pay out for medical bills abroad and can have the Baby on the NHS?

How much longer does he plan to hang on to those sad dreads? They're hanging on for dear life back there, oddly discolored, while his hairline is barely visible from the front anymore but for the wild frizz that frames the head like a fuzzy 6 inch gray halo.
Apparently he's 41 now. Time flies.
I honestly couldn't imagine going to bed next to a guy with such state of hair. His dreads look like a squirrel possibly lives there and it smells.

In the latest q&a video they said they plan to spend 6 months in the UK, 6 months in Costa Rica. How is that going to work for schooling for Neo? Which UK school will allow them to take him in and out like this? Raya also said she's considering home schooling. Poor Neo :( I just worry for him. It all sounds very confusing to put a child through.
