Just read today that many many participants at their beloved Envision festival got sick (puking etc.) while there. Were they too? The would of course never say it. Also, the locals hate the event as it just bring noise and druggies. One of the funders of that festival is the same guy that sold them that land lot in Alegria. The whole thing feels scammy and culty as hell.

They would never let me into Alegria, apart from not being a multimillionaire, if he tried to poke his random fruits into my face he’d get a kick in the nuts. Scammy and culty is right!

I just watched the video where they visit their land and camping bus and talk about their future plans. God, Raya walking around with her chic little handbag, gushing about inane things. She's out of place. There's no way she really wants this kind of life, not fully and authentically, just a little as a kind of enrichment and entertainment. I also find it a bit gross that they choose the people they want to live with according to their function, not according to how close they are or how much they love them. And the NHS doesn't need people, who could otherwise afford healthcare in the U.S., to scavenge off the free system. Just gross.

She'll have to pay for the NHS being an American I would assume?

I think he’s growing it long and will lose the dreads once he has neck length hair of his own. If he just goes cropped he will looklike his dad, nothing wrong with that but he’ll look older than his age.

I watched a few, the later ones have a lot of Raya’s family there and a few of Louis’s who are outnumbered! Raya’s gran came over to do the cooking for Xmas, doesn’t look like Raya or Louis cooked. Their house looks massive with all their guests sat round and reminds me of those days in their big house in LA. Raya’s family don’t appear to speak English but I thought they had been in the US for some years.
Little Neo is incredibly cute and has a “cut the BS” look on his face sometimes. It’s nice to see Raya looking a bit less stressed. I agree @cheesemonger they probably need cash coming in. There aren’t too many ads in the Vlogmas content, they are improving from that perspective. I’ll forgive them quite a bit because he tells a good story and knows how to set up shots, some YouTubers I watch are shocking!

Did anyone see his latest video about his ridiculous idea for driving his campervan across the US using only solar power? Someone in the comments explained the logistics and how he only has one way to physically be able to do it but there's Louis rambling on in the video about stopping places on the way to meet people etc.

Also, might just be me as I'm not really up to date with eco / energy efficiency etc but he's getting all the solar panels specifically made in China and shipped to california.... Surely that isn't great for the planet??

Unfortunately, more than 80% of all solar panels are produced in China. There is one company that produces them in the U.S. but I think the Chinese ones are significantly cheaper.

Possibly. But it has even fewer subscribers than her solo channel. It seems so silly to be focusing on the weakest channel.

i agree but I think the intention was to build it up while they did their travel across the US, travel across Europe, travel down to Costa Rica etc but times are different to when Louis got to 4m subs and it just hasn’t grown that much. Being a couple makes them both more boring!
