Anyone still watching Raya and Louis? Costa Rica seems to have been completely ditched, they are currently off for an “epic UK road trip”. We’ve watched a load of his videos over the years, he’s done some fantastic trips round India and Africa, seems a bit of a comedown to be doing the UK and asking people to make suggestions of where to go.

Did you see the video recently where they went to Costa Rica and (mainly) raya got upset because they were flattening the land ready for utilities and stuff to go in and thats why they left for a bit as they were so annoyed / upset they didn't know if they wanted to live there anymore or something? All seemed a bit overdramstic to me. Like of course there will need to be bits done to the whole land to make it a livable village or whatever the vibe they're going for is.

Because they are idiots. They are setting themselves up for being burgled by always leaving one place unattended for months on end. Their life is so high maintenance, requiring lots of long distance flights, storage, leaving humidifiers running for months, having cars and buses all over the place. It's decadent and unsustainable. I can't believe they still need to save money to build their house. You would have thought that would be their priority considering they have a deadline to start building. I guess they are going to do lots of ads. Gross. What a way to live.

I just had a look at Raya's Youtube channel. Not only has she not uploaded a video for over two years, she also didn't follow up on her announcement to film a pregnancy diary. She probably never had any kind of work ethic. I can't believe she claims to have worked full time right up to the pregnancy / birth. She probably thinks traveling with Louis is her job.

I really don't understand why they don't just stay put for the first one or two years. Neo could have a stable life and Raya and Louis could get used to being with Neo and each other without constant distractions. There are so many new experiences with a baby anyway, just enjoy it. I get that it can be good for a baby to get used to certain things so as not to be afraid of them. Although I think Neo slept so well at the festival purely from exhaustion from over stimulation. I don't understand why you would take a three-month-old on the motorway when you don't have to, let alone a plane. There's always a risk. And I don't see how they reconcile their constant flying and ensuing massive carbon footprint (they probably take more flights in a year than most people do in a lifetime) with the fact that climate change is already showing horrendous effects, and their son's future is jeopardized because of it.

That's actually a really good point about climate change. They are so preachy when it comes to sustainability etc, but don't seem to realise that they are actively contributing towards climate change? So they want to spend half the time in the UK and half in Costa Rica, plus the other tons of travelling to other countries? That's so many unecessary flights, especially if he doesn't remember most of it.

If they didn't make their whole image 'LeTs SaVe ThE pLaNeT gUyZzZ' I don't think I'd be judging them as much lol

I'm two years late on this but I just started watching the "How Louis Broke My Heart" vid. I honestly only watched a couple mins of Part 2, but omg what a trainwreck. Idk what she was trying to accomplish by telling this story (maybe she thinks she "won" something?) but it's NOT cute. It's awkward as hell.

He straight up told her "I'm not looking for a relationship" and "I just want to make sure we're just friends"...and she took that as a challenge?

So...basically...he wasn't interested in her (but also kept using/manipulating her?)...but also she didn't respect his boundaries (nor did she have the self-worth to ditch him and get a man who actually wanted to date her?)...he eventually caved...anddd we're supposed to find that to be a cute story?!

I’d love to see some calculations of the actual carbon footprint of their neo-colonial immigrant lifestyle…all those Alegria residents are seriously minted, flying in and out, importing food etc. Raya didn’t even know whether mangos were in season….that would be the first thing any fruit-grower or eco-liver would know.

You just know that while Raya is swanning around with her camera there, selling herself as an earth goddess, that a poor local is doing all the physical labor for minimum wage in the background. None of these people have ever gotten their hands dirty and planted something themselves.

I just watched the video where they visit their land and camping bus and talk about their future plans. God, Raya walking around with her chic little handbag, gushing about inane things. She's out of place. There's no way she really wants this kind of life, not fully and authentically, just a little as a kind of enrichment and entertainment. I also find it a bit gross that they choose the people they want to live with according to their function, not according to how close they are or how much they love them. And the NHS doesn't need people, who could otherwise afford healthcare in the U.S., to scavenge off the free system. Just gross.

I don't understand how Raya can be intimate with him. The last time they were in Costa Rica, he worked on the rotting bus for a week while she was away at a luxury wellness retreat and when it was time to pick her up, he said he hasn't showered in a week (doing physical labor in the heat) and that he doesn't have time to do so before getting her.

He also filmed his dreads getting tightened in the past and the amount of dirt that fell out of his hair in the process made me gag.

I am screaming at this . I think he's one of those types that uses salt deodarant that does absolutely nothing. Their recent video moaning about roads at their plot etc!! Also Raya saying it's not normal for two people to live in a house just the two of them and that it's only a very recent concept and that's why so many people are miserable, because they don't live in a big group. I couldn't think of anything worse!

On the Fun For Louis channel he’s done what looks like a Costa Rica promo video to advertise the Google 360 camera. It’s quite something. Apparently Alegria is improving the land compared to what the locals did which was depriving and draining the land by grazing their cattle on it And the usual, every other word is “community”.

Travel vlogging is their main (only?) source of income. Imagine the stress of not being able to do that, not having a place to live, and dealing with a newborn on top of that. Ooft.

I'll never understand why people don't take care of things like visas before entering a country. Or why they don't just get married to get the necessary documents. They can always have a big celebration later.

Louis and Raya did actually get married over a year ago. And they said they specifically moved to England before the birth to take advantage of the NHS.

It really is the most amusing thing that these two pretentious twats are living the typical middle class suburban life in England after selling this dream of an unconventional tree house in the jungle somewhere tropic to viewers for over a decade. Wouldn't be surprised if they've already sold the Costa Rica land.

I've watched a few and not much happens in any of them, they are very clickbaity.

Day 2 Surprise Announcement - Louis launched hoodies and tops that he has personally bleached.

Day 6 We Failed - they needed a chill out day, they're finding it hard going out everyday with a baby and daily vloging.

Day 8 Disagreeing about Christmas - they have different ideas about Christmas trees, Raya likes traditional and tasteful and Louis likes bright and colourful. They each decorate their own tree.

Day 9 Are we leaving Brighton - they talk about where they want to live and they don't really have an answer, there's no conclusion. They talk about wanting to live in Costa Rica and maybe Brighton or somewhere else in the UK.

Day 11 Juicy Q&A - They want to have 2 or 3 kids but Raya wants her body to take a break and they don’t think they could handle another kid just yet so no more babies for a little while. Louis finds it annoying that Raya worries too much, she's trying to work on that. Raya thinks Louis is a bit too easy going sometimes. Raya talks about her journey with holistic health.

Day 12 We’re leaving again - they went to stay in a treehouse, Raya wants them to spend more time in nature.

Day 15 - Raya finally broke - Pretty sure she just got a cold or something.
