I’m not everybody. I say that in a respectful way. I never expected her to buy an influencer style home whatever that may look. For her age and standing in life, it’s a very generous sized home. I just don’t believe that’s it’s bought entirely on her own back. Be it heavily mortgaged and deposited heavily that I believe but I think it would be realistic and fair to say she has had family help. Respect to them if they did. Her achievements aren’t to be scorned either. The issue is it’s a very awkward looking home in terms of space, perspective, proportion and the odd way the light comes in. I think she will get annoyed by that. I think it’s a fixer upper and a rung on the ladder to the next step. Saying that is fair and realistic. I have no doubt Freddy will decorate it in a way that is lovely for her. She could give Josephine a lot of inspiration which no doubt she will Single White Female Freddy on whatever choices are made. I think she will move on to a much more befitting flat in the future. She said at the beginning she always wanted a home in St. John’s Wood or Holland Park. Those come with hefty price tags and at her age to live in her first home there is a promising sign of making that happen. A little bit of honesty though would go a massive way because she has a very young demographic. I like her content because it’s escapism but I have to switch off at times because she gets very bitchy at times and I can’t listen to her gob off about The Secret or Jaunts with Josephine. Out of the two Freddy is more switched on, level headed and relatable but she’s just as bitchy and childish. Sadly the outbursts of passive aggression and lately tantrums on the sale laughing about it isn’t funny. She’s on the wrong side of 20 to be doing that. Imagine what it was like having her as your client. Solicitor, surveyor, estate agent or the vendor having to put up with her demands or displeasure. Hopefully she will start acting her age a bit more and as I’ve said before same applies to Josephine. Remind your audiences why they choose to waste an hour or so every vlog of their lives to watch your content. They want quality, fun and not to be offended than watching grown women act and sound like brats

I agree with everyone that she pretty much oversold the flat and made us feel as if she bought the perfect place.

For a first time apartment it's a very nice one but her bratty behaviour obviously doesn't help. Screaming at her solicitor, pouting because the colour didn't turn out the perfect shade and bragging about how she's a saver - when her channel is basically based on consumerism isn't an attractive look. For an adult who's in her late twenties she acts like a brat and as one member mentioned her account should be called bratfestatfreddys, which is so appropriate because she behaves like an entitled spoiled princess.

I find it hard to believe she had help - her family house is quite small and in a not so nice part of NW London (there are very nice and expensive areas near where she lives, but near here it is quite shady). I dont think her family is that well-off, and that explains why she tries to over compensate and put on this persona of being someone high and mighty.

Not keen on the On suit bathroom looks grotty . That being said she is doing it up but they cost so much money you'd be looking at 6-10k to do that properly.

We don't know the actual financial status of her family but to put it into perspective, my mom used to be a banker and she had customers who lived in super humble homes but had millions in their banks as opposed to those who live in bigger homes with flashy cars but were up to their eyes in debt. I'm saying that one's living situation may partially reflect their financial status but its just one part out of many.

The school she went to is really not cheap even if she had some kind of scholarship so they must be decently well off

The en-suite bathroom was just so gritty to me. I wonder if the last people just left it? It doesn’t look like it had been used in years

I’d like to know the location. I think some of the features were really nice but overall was dark and a bit dingy, it reminds me of my current place where what should have really been 1 flat has been split in to two and is that weird thing where it’s a bit of an awkward shape to fit rooms in

Fair enough. We’ll have to agree to disagree. However they aren’t poor, her grandmother’s property she often features on her IG stories is an enormous property on a corner plot overlooking the beach. Her parents home is hardly run down. They manage to have various holidays and live a very comfortable lifestyle. I’ve downsized to a property most would think, that’s small or “not where I’d expect you to live” however the amount of capital I’ve managed to release and save is another matter and one which affords for the nice things, being an old git I can have my fancy furniture, holidays, whatever by not paying for an expensive postcode, council tax, huge household bills. Looks are deceiving and most want to hide their wealth in whatever form that comes even by living in less salubrious areas unless one is a Youtuber. Where it’s flaunt flaunt flaunt. I think Freddy has had help not necessarily most or a significant percentage but I would lay money on that she’s had contributions from parents, grandparents because if my old memory serves me correct she mentioned that vaguely in lieu of presents money towards that was given. I could be completely wrong and dementia is setting in. I do agree with the rest of your reply. She does put on the Lady Bountiful act then reverts to Spoilt Princess

She's literally only just about hitting 100-150k views on her new videos - the odd one being 250k - which is ridiculous considering she has 1mil subscribers - she needs to have a reality check. I think her subscribers are starting to see her for what she really is. I bet she was imagining that her new flat tour would do really well but it doesn't seem like it - I'm really surprised by her choice in the flat - it seems super claustrophobic to me. Considering she was making out that she wanted to buy a million pound property - there are so many properties much nicer than this under a million that don't even need half the work that this one does.
I don't think she even thought about having a spare bedroom because she has no friends anyway.
I definitely think she's regretting it - if not now, she will when she fills it up and realises theres no space and she's the one who has to tidy up, wash the dishes, hoover and clean the bathroom!! - perhaps she'll get 'daddy' to come over and do it all.

Yes he has been given his “orders” no doubt judging by him on the floor chiselling something on her IG stories. He’s actually a very handsome man. Long hair, tattoos and charm. He was on the Paris vlog. Lucky Mrs Cousin Brown he’s hot!

She did say in her year round up video (her second last one)
She said she couldn’t see herself doing YouTube in her 30s
Beside YouTube I don’t know what else she can do since she dropped out of school (unless working for a job that doesn’t require a school qualification, which I don’t think there are many jobs like that)
I can see her wanting to be a landlord, she could rent out that flat if she wanted to
It could be a nice back up plan if YouTube doesn’t work out for her
I think a YouTube channel is a great side hustle but I personally couldn’t rely on it full time, I would be far too anxious not be guaranteed a certain wage every month

That’s great you want to do that. I have travelled a lot as well. But the reality is that most people just live in the country and often even the city they have lived in. So I find it a bit strange that surprises you so much.

- - -

I find she is replacing so much at once, just because it’s not exactly to her liking.

And why would you put your washing machine back in the kitchen if you don’t have to? I know many UK kitchens have that, but I’ve always assumed that’s because of older layouts. I would never voluntarily sort out my dirty laundry next to where I cook my food.

I think she's gonna be using the storage space in her en suite bathroom for her makeup and stuff, so she decided to move the washing machine to the kitchen which I'm pretty sure will be the most under utilized room in the entire flat. Out of sight, out of mind.

I've just been looking into this and the haul she accused the girl of copying was uploaded a week before hers, look at the dates

Washing machines are almost always in the kitchen in England. It's a very European thing to have the washing machine in the bathroom, it always surprises me when I rent an Airbnb in Europe. I don't think it's weird she's putting it back, I wouldn't fancy a washing machine in the bathroom either.

Why specifically Australia or America? I've lived in different cities for work and that on its own was stressful enough, you have to rent and can't buy, you have to travel to see family and old friends. I also have friends who have moved to other countries but it's a very specific life goal to have, it's not that common and you can easily travel and see the world without living there.

If I did want to move then Australia or America wouldn't be one of my options, I would either choose somewhere with a very different culture to the UK like Thailand/ Vietnam or somewhere high on the happiness report like Scandinavia.

London is well connected to the world has has a lot to offer culturally, I don't see anything weird about Freddy staying there. Whether she takes full advantage of the culture is a different story

Ehhh Josie asked about her room to stay like she doesn't have a London Flat all to herself. They've designated their pink rooms. *cringe*

I personally wasn't expecting this massive out of touch home like Josie's "Listed Grade II* " in the Cotswolds *barely Cotswolds* AONB *because no other place in the UK has an AONB* but I was expecting something more that didn't require so much tear down and modifications. I was browsing gorgeous flats in London in the 1 mil price range to just see and let me tell you, they have such beautiful homes for sale and even some with a lower price point. I don't know the areas (of whats the most expensive or not). I mean even in the area where Josie bought her flat in Chiswick- there's a ton of beautiful flats for sale. I don't know, her flat is cute but feels like something is missing. Maybe its because it's not done yet but I do wonder if the outside building is stunning??

As for the washer in the kitchen, in Portugal they do the same thing especially in apartments/flats.

Ah I see. I always thought it had to do with old housing layouts and how plumbing used to be or something. Only very old houses here in the Netherlands have the washing machine in the kitchen.

To me, the idea of sorting my dirty underwear next to somebody having a cup of coffee and taking my fresh laundry out while I’m cooking garlic right next to it, and then having to carry it all back upstairs and having a conversation right next to a spinning washing machine is not my ideal, but it’s probably my cultural bias. Please ignore me!

Yes, and the setting with the Burberry scarf and the mannequin well Grace did that first, I can bet you anything that Freddy copied that after seeing Grace’s videos
I noticed that too, she had that set-up first! I just don't understand how she can accuse her of plagiarism? and she claims its not bullying but by putting that on her story she was basically sending hate towards a 16 year old?? its so wrong
