Out of interest for those that think he jumps on trends etc to be relatable, what trends do you feel he's jumped on? I don't overly follow him so not sure if I've missed something.
The only thing I've really seen from him is advocating for black people and the racism they face but I wouldn't call that a trend.

Maybe Perri and Ashley both got new lady friends at the panto last year?

Really pleased to see Fran spending more time with her family and friends. Love seeing her out on the school mum's nights out! Says a lot about her that she's there and Naomi isn't!

Maybe sorting clothes ready for the big move out I agree just don’t get anything, but I see he is posting more now on his stories. Guess we got to watch how it all plays out, hope they reunite

So timeframes... I recalled a really weird situation where Naomi rushed home leaving the kids with her parents after just arriving (hours drive away). Looking back through the Naomi feeds, that looks to have been around April 22... Around the same time, Danielle Banjo posted about "emotional times" - perhaps linked to the Fran/Ash situation rather than Naomi/Jordan, like a lot of people originally thought?

I’ll be honest - if I was in a relationship with someone and he disappeared off on holiday with his ex / estranged wife, I’d be pretty unhappy about it. Great that they’re trying to make things more ‘normal’ for the kids, but I’m not sure it’s healthy for them, any new partners or (in the longer term) for the children. It must be very confusing for all involved!

Today was his last day in Wizard of Oz so I get that but they’ve a huge family - no reason you can’t just bung another couple of kids into whatever the plan is and give her a break. I can’t imagine my SIL having a tummy bug and not offering to take the kids for a bit.

Can I just say- I find it really bad to don’t spend Christmas Day with your kids, especially when they are 3 and 2!! I know he is doing panto but look at Jordan he spent Christmas Day with his kids.. I love Fran she is amazing mum

He’s a total disgrace to his kids. Not one night he’s spent with them

He’s working on a tour which he’ll make out is for his kids. He’ll make some sentimental segment of the show involving them to pretend he’s some die hard father. When infact he’s an absent father who seemingly never bothers with his children. The other members manage to take their children to the studio, his are never there, cos he can’t be arsed. He’s a disgrace.

He's barely acknowledged her on social media for a very long time and now they've announced the separation he's suddenly showing her. It's all very weird!

I also can't see there being someone else on the scene as surely they wouldn't be happy with them still having family days out

I can foresee Fran finding a wonderful man who cherishes her and those kids. They’ll have a good relationship with him too and we’ll see a normal healthy family life. I think Fran is a bit of a superwoman.
I also think the ring is just a replacement as I know people who have been divorced and are used to a ring on there so just get a plain one for everyday

That was a weird story she just posted, definitely just wanted us all to know she was with Ash and he stayed at ‘home’ last night. Odd, I feel bad for Fran. She seems really lovely, maybe they’ll work it out.

Dancing on ice starts in Jan! Wonder if Ashley is going to be a judge? The pics posted above and even one posted on the Naomi thread from 2021, he looks like a really beaten man! No genuine happiness there, I wonder if he's got mental battles he's facing. Could explain why Fran remains so supportive still

I guess we don't know what's gone on. They were all together Christmas eve. My ex didn't see our daughter on Xmas day as he had her Xmas eve and then had her today and tomorrow. Depends what has been decided. Lots of parents don't see their children on Xmas day for various reasons.

So there have been a few "ambiguous" posts now that Ashley has posted around mental health and happiness. I'm starting to wonder whether actually his split from Fran was to do with lack of fulfillment/mental health struggles... Makes sense for Fran to stick by if he's somewhat fragile

I don’t believe we’ll ever know the reason, only that it wasn’t a toxic split.

I do feel he respects her as a best friend/companion, but has lost feelings and no longer sees her in a romantic way. I don’t feel she’ll ever meet anyone else, she’s too attached to Ashley, even just for co-parenting it’s way too intense how much she tags and posts about him, let alone the fact she is still working as his secretary.

Fair play to her though, she’s stuck by him and praised him throughout the 2 years since the supposed split happened.

I’m curious as to where Ashley is living now and if he is seeing someone when he’s not with Fran or at the Diversity Studio, e.g. at Christmas Day he was nowhere to be seen.
