Yeah, it was awful to watch. What amazes me is still how the marshalls and medical team just run straight in to help. Bloody heroes the lot of them!Have you just seen the new footage of him getting out of the car? I started crying again.

I'm gonna sort of disagree with Ricciardo, the first thing they showed was Grosjean in the medical car, only once we knew he was out of the car and basically fine, did they show replays of the crash. The broadcasting team are very good at cutting away from very serious live accidents quickly and not showing replays until they know the driver is okay.Thank God he is ok. Do agree with Ricciardo though about how disrespectful it was to feature replays of the crash. Grosjeans poor family must have been traumatised just waiting for news and the replays were properly stomach churning. I know they have to fill the time on a live broadcast but can you imagine if the worst had happened and his family were seeing this?
Just seen Grosjeans Instagram video and to be talking with just the injuries he has is nothing short of a miracle.
Shows just how far F1 has come over its 70 years.Incredible. Still can't believe he's ok.
I love Daniel and he was clearly worked up. I thought he must've been upset when I heard he'd gone to his room at the paddock rather than staying on the pit lane. However, I agree with you, we didn't see anything until Romain was in the medical care. Replaying stuff over and over is, sadly, normal with most things, look at the 9/11 attacks.I'm gonna sort of disagree with Ricciardo, the first thing they showed was Grosjean in the medical car, only once we knew he was out of the car and basically fine, did they show replays of the crash. crazy isn’t it. i read earlier that they actually had new suits brought in just this year. the old one were lighter but only fended off fire for 10 seconds but the new ones keep it out for 20! shame they didn’t update the gloves but still he’s really been lucky with thisIncredible. Still can't believe he's ok.
Annoys me that sometimes in F1 money talks over talent!what are our thoughts on mazepin?
who do we think will replace hamilton??? i’m hoping george!!
ITS HAPPENING.
George is confirmed for Mercedes. Whyyyyyy am I working this weekend![]()
If he does struggle, which I've got a feeling he won't be too far away from Bottas, the excuse will be that it's a different car, he isn't used to it etc. and basically that will be a reasonable excuse. But I think he will do a decent job in the car. I think he will Definitely put the pressure on Bottas. It’s going to be a interesting weekend, glad to see George get a shot...
...however, this isn’t going to look good for Mercedes either way:
1. George is good - so this makes their decision to keep Bottas not a good one, and there will be calls (from British fans & media) that George should be at merc
2. George is not good - (which may just be down to a different beast of a car) - puts his future career at risk, if he can’t at least match Bottas or be close behind.
This is either going to cause a lot of hype around George, or give people a reason to write him off.
