Gasly has definitely rebuilt himself brilliantly from the awful experience at Red Bull. Not his fault that went wrong. I think when you see the number of drivers ruined by the Red Bull programme, and recently by being let down as No. 2 to Verstappen being given cars designed entirely to suit Max's style not the other driver. They are all on a hiding to nothing. Pierre seems like a genuinely decent guy, deserved his win even if I was rooting for Carlos as a McLaren fan. Likely to be partnering Yuki Tsunoda for next year.

And I'm really obsessed with Pierre's eyes!

Great to see Ocon doing well this year. I did worry about him going against Alonso, but he seems to be giving it some so far. Though I do actually think Alonso has lost a bit of his edge on this F1 comeback. Not lost loads, but a bit.

Supposedly Kelly’s mum and Sophie (Max’s mum) are friends so they have known each other a really long time.
I noticed Charles’s girlfriend Charlotte has got a handbag deal with Thalie. She’s a spoilt rich girl who was very good friends with his ex Giada. Charles and Charlotte started going out two weeks after Giada and Charles broke up. Not sure why Thalie thinks she’s a great role model as most of Charlotte and Giada’s friends were disgusted by her actions and are no longer friends with her. For the record I think Charles is far too cocky for someone who hasn’t won a world title especially after the Liger video.

An update on Max and Kelly - they are both in Brazil with some friends and have been posting very similar stories.

Jos his Dad is a strange guy. He is known to have a temper. Split up with Max and Victoria’s Mum Sophie and assaulted her. He got married to another woman a few years ago and had a baby Blue Jaye. The marriage was again violent. He dated a Brazilian woman Amanda for several months who was Max’s grid girl in Brazil. Then deleted all trace of her and announced he got married to his third wife. They have have two children - the little girl was born in the last couple of weeks . Jos also became a grandad in December as Max’s sister had a baby boy!

As much as I will stand on my podium and endlessly wax lyrical about Lando Norris, who I love and adore more than any F1 driver ever. He is the cutest, most adorable guy ever, but I'm also not totally ignorant to the fact that George Russell is a better driver than him and more likely to win titles. But my heart belongs to Lando Norris.

Not always a great race anyway. Current gen cars don't race well at Albert Park.

But just feels like it's going to be another tough season with a calendar that will be ever changing. Hopefully the season won't be delayed by months this year though.

It’s going to be a interesting weekend, glad to see George get a shot...

...however, this isn’t going to look good for Mercedes either way:

1. George is good - so this makes their decision to keep Bottas not a good one, and there will be calls (from British fans & media) that George should be at merc

2. George is not good - (which may just be down to a different beast of a car) - puts his future career at risk, if he can’t at least match Bottas or be close behind.

This is either going to cause a lot of hype around George, or give people a reason to write him off.
