It’s the fact he lost his seat based on that rather than his silly inability to actually drive well. A lot of Russians are scared to speak out against what’s going on in fear for their families, I have no doubt Nikita is the same, I mean he could have got called to go to war as I’m sure he used to go to military camps. Just baffles me with has I know their main sponsor was Russian, then last seasons rich energy fiasco with not paying, not to mention gen has went to prison for tax invasion and fraud

He only got the seat because of the money and wasn't even considered before his father offered Haas money. His father/sponsor pulled out or Haas terminated the contract because as an American team they don't want to be associated with Russian oligarchs

I feel so bad for the team. 2022 was the year they poured all their energy into, hoping for it to pay off, and not a single thing has gone right for them so far. As I said before, I don't feel sorry for Mazepin. He shouldn't have even made it to F1. Action should've been taken against him when he groped a girl against her will and posted it on Instagram, action should've been taken against him when he was a danger to the health and safety of many drivers in F2 because things weren't going his way. 100% shouldn’t have been in f1 on the platform of the world stage after that. F1 and has we’re happy enough to take money after that, you have to question the integrity of the company too. I’m interested to hear what he’s got to say, for some reason after mick unfollowing him so quickly but not the actual team, I’m inclined to think that it’s possible mick may have given them an ultimatum, the Schumacher name has power in that industry.
