Hey everyone!! Can't believe we are at 50 threads now! I was looking back at my profile and I joined at #17 !!! Doesn't feel like its been that long but also probably it's not been that long because we go through threads like nobody's business haha!

Love the supportive environment we have here. Love that I finally have other friends (even if they are just virtual) to talk about this new interest with. Here's to 50 more!

Whilst she doesn't currently live in Ukraine, she is the only Ukrainian person that I follow and so she is the only person I am getting any real sense of the actual impact that this is having on individuals from Ukraine. Yes news sites can report on it and provide interviews and statements etc., but they will not literally edit but edit in a way (i cant think of the word to use) what they are being told to sort of fit with the points that they are trying to get across in any particular report/article/story. Kat is just straight up providing the facts as well as an account of what it is like to be Ukrainian, particuarly one separated from family and friends at this time. I can only imagine that she, along with countless other Ukrainians who have moved away long before the war began, are feeling like - they must feel so bad that there is nothing that they can physically do to help as they arent there.

Didn’t really like her dating tactics for F1 drivers but I do really feel she’s expressing herself well, providing practical advice for those who want to help and is sharing concrete information.

The whole thing is scary as an outsider so for her and her worries for her family and home country - it must be awful.

I don’t really see how this war is going to end. Hearing putin wants to reinstate a previous president to be his puppet. I can’t see the Ukrainian people standing for that. The longer it goes on the more dangerous I fear Putin will become.
