Thing is with Lando, his family could 100% afford super cars, yachts etc... They are far wealthier than Charles' family but they decide not to show it too much. It was mentioned on the high performance podcast that his parents actually asked McLaren not to give him a car back in 2019 because they didn't think a 19 year old should be driving a car like that.I think Charles suits his Ferrari, because he's quite suave and has a level of Monegasque class and sophistication. Lando absolutely doesn'tI adore him, but considering he was brought up in a middle class family and went to good schools, he has all the class of a teenage boy who giggles when someone says 'sex'. If he didn't have money, and wasn't an F1 driver, I guarantee he'd be driving round in a kitted up Ford Fiesta drinking cans of cheap lager and smoking Sterling fags.
