Thank god there’s sane people here! I don’t understand the hate towards George at all. It’s like everyone got so used to Bottas playing second fiddle that they just expect every second driver at Merc to work for Lewis now. Good on George for going for it, he didn’t get into this sport to support someone else.

Agree re the Yuki conspiracies - RB leaning on AT to cause such a massive fuck up to simply avoid RB coming third seems a bit of a stretch

The fandom has become very, very hateful towards drivers and just basically everyone wouldn’t wish it on anyone, the mental resilience these people have is crazy

Yes. He lied about his age, had an online girlfriend while having two kids and a partner in the UK, lied about having terminal cancer and dying.

Mercedes got completely duped too. They invited him to the Factory for the Hungary GP. And he “died” days later.

How dare Hannah smile at any point during a race?! People are ridiculous, she is busy enough concentrating on her own two drivers (and doing great strategies for them) to be interfering with other teams.
It was entirely Mercedes choice to pit George and not Lewis, the safety car being brought out should have made a pit stop more likely, especially after Abu Dhabi when Lewis was a sitting duck. Ferrari levels of keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result there!

Would love to see Seb on the podium for his last year. But it's not gonna happen with that car but I can dream

If we are going to wish for a crazy race let’s get a Seb, Pierre and Danny Ric podium up there! Honourable mention to Alex who just misses out on the podium despite still feeling off colour from his operation, but fourth is still amazing points for Williams!
