My fear is that he will become one of the drivers who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I suppose a lot of it depends on how well he does at Alpine (if he does go!) and whether he can become a potential asset to the other teams in the future.

It’s a strange one now there are so many young drivers on the grid, it’s going to create an interesting precedent going forward because it’s opened the door to way more competition.
i worry that he’s eventually just going to get spaced out too :( i think that’s why everyone was/is so hopeful of that alpine move for him - without it he stays in the red bull machine for at least another year or two years, by which point there’s gonna be a lot of new young talent starting to move up. so i’m still 🤞🏻 for him getting that alpine seat. i think it will be huge for him, both from a career and a morale pov (as much as it would be sad to separate him and yuki!)

I can feel my hole quivering just looking at this picture.

Hard, raw, rough, merciless, pound me Pierre. Use me. Hold on to me by my hair, pull my hair and wreck my willing arse.

Angry sweaty Pierre gonna have me anyway he wants.
I can't see the appeal myself 😂

I am pleased he is but who will be his teammate I wonder
i know! i am like 🧐🧐🧐

i truly think/hope pierre is going to alpine, which does make me a little sad as he and yuki obviously have a lovely teammate relationship! if pierre goes, then rumours are surely dictating it will be nyck? i don’t know who else red bull are interested in right now given their comments about their juniors not being quite ready yet.

Trying to support Ferrari is just so difficult when they keep making mistakes like that. Why the hards????

Honestly fair play to them.

The amount of abuse some accounts got for calling it out.

He stole the opportunity from someone else more deserving to experience an f1 factory visit and supposedly got a message from Lewis himself.
Yes! He did a great job of exposing Centurion.
All the teams are going to be more cautious of giving these opportunities now. MB must be embarrassed and furious. Until you mentioned it I was unaware he actually went to the factory. I read that Centurion has received merchandise and possibly money as well. Disgusting.

Danny seems to be at the point that he’s not left with any decent options

With all due respect, Mick isn't even that good of a driver. Not sure how it would end up in any of the top 4.
i have to agree, he hasn’t shown anything to deserve a place in the top 4 imo - i get he’s a nice person and everyone feels very soft about him, but a lot of other drivers shine in “lower” teams before getting moved up. he hasn’t. i’d rather see someone else in that seat (that seat meaning alpine, hypothetically).

loved ocon basically shading pierre though, i want them to be teammates and then forced to do lots of “fun” team building videos. the drama, i would love it.

It is INSANE how mentally strong they have to be. That’s what makes me so interested in F1 - it’s not just about the cars but the psychology behind the drivers. I find it so interesting, could talk about this all day! I don’t think there are any other sports that put their athletes in this kind of set up - the whole dynamic between team mates fascinates me. How they have to get on well but also want to end each other’s careers, then you add into the mix that most of them have been friends off-grid for years.
all of this is FASCINATING to me. the motorsport team mate dynamic is unique - it’s like ideally you get along to make it easier for the team, but you’re also not team mates because you want to beat each other. then you have the solid “real” friendships (pierre and charles, alex and george etc) which start get impacted if one of you is doing better and you have to be so secure within that. that’s even before all the actual team nonsense starts. i want to write a whole psychological study on it!

That’s shocking!!!! I can’t believe he thought he could get away with it. How did it all come out and did he actually go to the factory?
Yes he went. Mercedes quickly tweeted and deleted about it when he “died”.

He looks fit and healthy and then was dead two days later. It never sat right with me that someone with terminal cancer was tweeting two hours before their death…. Turns out he is a hospital porter so he sees sickness everyday and still did this.

Me too. @aidil i hope i haven't said anything to make you uneasy? I joke about pierre but it's affectionate (kinda) 😉
Mate we love your baguette bashing, someone has to be on the other team 🤣

Yuki only stays if piere has gone else where! I feel a last race of the season announcement again for someone!
Ffs I can’t take anymore drivers leaving us 🥲 It’s hit me today that this may be the last season of wholesome Yukierre content and I’m so sad 😭

There's got to be more to this Alpine/Piastri thing I find it very difficult to understand how or why they release a false statement. Piastri does need to be careful on what he's liking and commenting on as no F1 could end up wanting to have him

i have to agree - he seems a very nice man and all, but i think it’s fair to say he had more seasons in f1 than he “should” have done. he was outperformed by all his teammates, including one that only found out that weekend.

wasn’t there always that rumour about his family (being rich af) giving money to williams though? not sure how true it was or if it was an assumption because they’re rich, but i wonder what they’ll do without that cash if so.
Sofina is a Williams sponsor, and that is owned by Nick's dad. So yeah, he's a pay driver getting money into Williams.

Hi All! Do we have any info on Alex? I am concerned that none of his family or himself have given an update. I know Williams said he was okay, but it makes me nervous not to see anything on their end. Just hoping for the best for him and that no news is good news.

PS. Hello from the F1 Wags side of tattle.
