Money speaks, and new american fans are open to spend a lot for the whole experience. Our races here are more low-key, and people get pretty upset when the prices goes too high (as seen with Silverstone). Pretty happy that Spa is still here, and I don't hate Monaca, I feel like all historic races should be kept.

I also don't think Gasly is leaving AT. In my eyes, the alpine seat is still open and Daniel should go there. I hated his move to McLaren, as most of you, I still don't understand it. Besides how it turned out, it's also really weird how he left a team that was ready to invest so much in him. Anyhow, I'll keep manifesting a seat for Daniel in my night meditations and keep my hope high. So many missed opportunities, what a waste of a great talent.
At least, he said that he's happy to see Max on top, we'll have that bromance forever (suck on that Netflix ).

So at the moment Nyck is going to Alpha Tauri and Pierre is going to Alpine!
Nyck really saw the opportunity, was at the right place at the right time, and put in a really good application driving that Williams!

This also means we will have a 100% French team!
Long live the French ab-off!

Seb really didn't know what snowball-effect him retiring was going to have on all the teams
Especially with Fernando just: "see you later fuckers, I'm going to Aston" as the first move after that.

That Mercedes’ second seat is such a mystery to me, I think toto wants a perez/bottas driver to fill that seat when Lewis goes, he definitely doesn’t want a Lewis-nico situation again and I think George-Lewis works because George knows he’ll be the lead in a few years. Pierre and Esteban would both want to challenge I think, and este hasn’t been the friendliest with other teammates. That said Toto seems loyal to him so maybe though Pierre would be more deserving in that seat imho. But maybe este more suited as he’s ~consistent~ and could possibly be put in his box a little, idk

daniel makes me sad I so want him to get that alpine seat but I don’t see it happening, I think haas would be great with the marketability/American love but I think this year will be bye-bye. I’m gutted

It’s been a very sad year for older F1 fans. While I like some of the young guns like the Ferrari boys I just don’t see the legends there. There won’t be another Seb ( or Lewis when he leaves) for a long time. There also aren’t many characters like DR left.

same it’s absolutely the end of what was (imo) a golden generation - i like a few of the younger ones (my boy sharl of course!) but they’re just not the same. i can’t believe we only have ten more races with seb and maybe daniel.

ferrari radio messages are painful to listen to, my goodness have to say that lewis was lucky not to get some kind of penalty from that, the contact with fernando was completely his fault. also though perez should have had a penalty for squeezing charles out but i am also very biased.

this is just a max/red bull masterclass, isn’t it? to get through the whole field that quickly is ridiculous.

Maybe wrong to think this but what if the alleged Alpine move does not work for Pierre. Where next? Maybe after 1 season Aston Martin, that depends on grandad Alsono. Ferrari? Nope. Mercedes? Maybe but that more than likely depends on Sir Lewis retiring.

My fear is that he will become one of the drivers who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I suppose a lot of it depends on how well he does at Alpine (if he does go!) and whether he can become a potential asset to the other teams in the future.

It’s a strange one now there are so many young drivers on the grid, it’s going to create an interesting precedent going forward because it’s opened the door to way more competition.

Same. It's wild to think about how dominant RB are right now, when it looked like the championship was Ferrari's for the taking at the start of the season. Soul destroying.

I really like Alex. He's doing a great job in the Williams and has dealt with so much pressure for his entire motorsport career. I know he's not unique in that, but I do admire his resilience. I listened to a podcast with him, Pierre and Valtteri discussing their 'big breaks' (separate interviews) and it was interesting to hear the pressure they had dealt with in the junior categories.

Miami sticks out. Why put it between Azerbaijan and San Marino! Plus they’ve moved Spa . I should be glad it’s still on the calendar but it’s always end of august. At least they haven’t moved monza. Italy in September is beautiful.
I should just embrace it but I just don’t like change and I miss Australia being the first race.
