Exactly! Like Pierre in Monza or Esteban in Hungary! We need something a bit different just to make the race more interesting. This has been such a dull season

It’s been quite horrible!! It can be so funny and lovely but recently it’s gotten mean - both to members and directed at the WAGs, it’s unnecessary and not what I’m here for. So glad this thread is a much nicer place

so I’m trying to work out who doesn’t have a seat for next year yet and am I right that it’s Mick, Daniel, Latifi, Yuki and Zhou?

i think that’s everyone! zhou seems likely to keep his imo, and possibly yuki, but the rest could go anywhere! i think both nick and daniel are in their final season though

I'm the same with Lando, I used to be a big fan until Russia last year, his little hissy fits on the radio and not listening to the team just really grated on me. Also when he was keen to swap with DR at Monza when they were leading 1-2....but when a position swap doesn't benefit him he makes a comment. I still do like him and want him to do well, I've just gone off him

Same. It's wild to think about how dominant RB are right now, when it looked like the championship was Ferrari's for the taking at the start of the season. Soul destroying.

I really like Alex. He's doing a great job in the Williams and has dealt with so much pressure for his entire motorsport career. I know he's not unique in that, but I do admire his resilience. I listened to a podcast with him, Pierre and Valtteri discussing their 'big breaks' (separate interviews) and it was interesting to hear the pressure they had dealt with in the junior categories.

TW potential eating disorder, suicidal thoughts
I don’t know if it’s the same interview but Valtteri once also alluded to having an eating disorder because of how light racing drivers need to be and how he had suicidal thoughts. The mental resilience these drivers have is incredible. I wish it was different though, these are some insane things to deal with and no one should have to go through that. But they are absolutely their own worst enemy. They don’t seem to have any flexibility or ability to think on their feet based on what’s happening in front of them. See last week when they wanted Carlos to pit mid overtaking Perez!

i hope so - the camera tracking him made it so dramatic

they shoot themselves in the foot continuously. like you say, they cannot adapt or change, and never seem to give the drivers anything useful to work with. this has been the case for years at this point, i’m biased but they’re completely squandering talent and ruining driver’s chances. it’s exhausting!

The Ferrari drivers can probably pull off any colour. Whether they dressed like Minions or McDonald's employees. Fingers crossed for them to have a decent, uncomplicated race.

Not a very exciting race but surely this must prove Latifi is not doing a good enough job. With Albon and De Vries they could be nicking points on a more regular basis.

When they gonna announce latifi is going! He’s had a go and it’s not good enough!
