i saw someone say that he should do full research on how exactly was at the paddock etc and i’m sorry did they not see what a circus it looked like down there? was he meant to make notes on random us athletes?!
i like austin too! it’s still slightly ott but has a certain charm to it (i think because they lean into the cowboy/country thing) and is genuinely a much better track.
i hated miami and can already anticipate that i’m going to dislike vegas
I don't mind Austin, and truth be told I don't mind the flamboyant show that comes with US sporting events. I wouldn't want it at all the races, but one is fine, for that something different. Miami just didn't seem to have that atmosphere though, was just a bit bleurgh. exactly - i can’t put my finger on exactly why but i just think it didn’t have the charm that somewhere like austin does. i know it’s only the first race but there was a complete fakeness to it which ruined the whole vibe, like you say, absolutely not one for race fans.

I think we knew Miami was gonna go crazy. The first one there for ages and gotta put on a grand show to show how good they are. The amount ot cost must have been ridiculous but to keep it and get more people involved it had to be this way. Might be wrong, but they might learn for next time? So strange seeing Seb in this list! Cba with the salty replies asking "why a multi millionaire F1 driver is on the show", if they did a single bit of research they'd know why he's been invited.
Never heard of the other 4. Well same statement they'd put if Lewis is on there. Just because they have money. They have earned it. Wonder how the conversation will go with the MPs?
i think/hope he’s going to change a lot of peoples’ minds. he’s articulate, passionate about a lot of causes and puts his money/influence where his mouth is.
question time frequently has comedians and musicians on so i don’t get why people would clutch their pearls about him in particular!
I like Seb but I don’t want to see a celeb who drives racing cars and flies a huge amount of miles round the world every year preaching about climate change to MP’s regarding a country he doesn’t even live in.
