this was such a good race for monaco standards, i'd love to see this much variety in strategy every year!

Officially confirmed now that Perez is with RedBull for two more years. He 100% deserves this- has been such a stellar driver so far this year.
Hoping that Red Bull will make sure the fight between Perez and Verstappen is fair for the remaining races to come, as both of them could win the championship this year, and would be a shame if team orders come into play again at this early stage.
Also, separate thing, have any of you guys seen all the wild rumours that are floating around following Monaco regarding the drivers and their relationships?

red bull will never have a fair fight between two drivers sadly; they always have a solid team number one, and that’s max for the foreseeable. they do seem to really value checo though and i guess he knows what the set-up is, so i’m glad he’s been shown some appreciation. i do wonder if pierre still secretly had his eye on that spot though!
i haven’t seen any legit ones, just some wild fan fiction styles, which made me laugh

I'm pleased for Checo he's been stellar this year. i think i said on this thread before but, as much as i love him, pierre is destined to always be the second driver on mid tier teams. imo if danny ricc does leave then mclaren will line up someone already within their bracket. or go out of the box with a young driver. would mercedes consider it if lewis leaves? i do wonder if pierre was expecting a second chance at red bull somewhere along the way.

Had Pierre been on the form he was last year merc would have no doubt in appointing him if Lewis leaves or retires etc I’ve said this before. I think won’t happen! There should be some movement but nothing shocking I don’t think. Williams will change their driver again if the rumours are true

i did see the apparent evidence of checo cheating and it’s really just him chatting to a girl in a club and then a red bull employee batting the camera away, so hopefully something out of nothing!
