I'm hoping to go next year but we've got a huge reorg at work and I dunno if I'll definitely have the time off yet
I’ve only ever done silverstone for testing or Friday practice but have done Spa (twice), monza, Nurburgring, monaco and Barcelona, oh and Canada but that was a 30th bday treat.I've never been to a GP ever and came on here today to see of y'all had any tips??

Thank you! (And to the others who replied )I’ve only ever done silverstone for testing or Friday practice but have done Spa (twice), monza, Nurburgring, monaco and Barcelona, oh and Canada but that was a 30th bday treat.
we found looking for cheap flights (Barcelona is good for this), cheap hotel and not doing a package we got some good deals. Haven’t been for a few years as we have young kids, but I’d definitely recommend the European races. We drove to spa and it’s pretty doable especially if you live in the south east.
I nearly got hate crimed for saying he was wanting to overtake, and alluding to it on radio on Sunday. He spoke about it in nearly all the post-race interviews. Let Daniel have his moment and if you're good enough you'll win and he'll be delighted for you.He decided not to overtake? To me it’s sounds like if he could easily overtake. But decided not to.
It would have sounded better if he would have said something like trying to overtake him. Max and Lewis had problems taking over McLarens so i don’t think it would be easy for him as well, unless they give teamorders.
But I might be to negative, not a big Lando fan (sorry!) Imo McLaren favored him too much and with his outstanding results (he had a very good start this season) he kind of thinks he’s the man, if you know what I mean.
Think it’s good for him personally to finish behind Dan this time.
Spa is my favourite too. Amazing circuit and nearly always a good race (this year aside).I'd love to go to spa sometime it's my favourite also Canada as my partner's from there!
This is a flexSpa is my favourite too. Amazing circuit and nearly always a good race (this year aside).
Canada was fab too. I loved Montreal and really want to go back, just need a small lottery win first, it’s so easy to get the underground from Montreal out to the circuit and there was loads on during the evenings over the weekend, car demos etc.
we went the year of the 5 hour race that button eventually won. It was very wet! Loads of the teams missed their flights as it ended so late so were on our flight home on the Monday. My mum bagged herself a seat next to a senior Mercedes engineer!!! I was so jealous.

Totally agree. I like Lando cos I'm a McLaren fan, but I do think he's arrogant, especially this year. I get it, he's good and I believe he will be a championship winner at some point, but I think he needs to grow up a bit. Kinda reminds me of Max a few years ago.View attachment 762761
Is it just me or do others find this also a bit arrogant?

I’m from NI too and did Silverstone for the first time this year (I’d done Monza before, many years ago). We got the ferry to Cairnryan and drove down, but we made a holiday out of it and did Alton Towers on the way down and then stayed with relatives in Manchester on the way home. I booked my grandstand tickets through Silverstone but booked a hotel and coach package for 3 nights so I didn’t have to drive back and forth to the circuit every day. If I did it again I’d camp, as the atmosphere looked amazing plus you don’t have to leave the circuit to get a coach at 6pmI've never been to a GP ever and came on here today to see of y'all had any tips??

Also I used to never look for F1 on tiktok in case of spoilers as I usually have to watch highlights on c4 but recently liked a few videos and now my entire feed is F1I've noticed a lot of mazepin apologists on there ...

OH MY GOD HELLA bleepin YESWho’s excited for the Schumacher doc coming out on Netflix today ? Can’t wait
If you do go with general admission, I would really recommend getting the inner track pass too. I’m not 100% what’s included with the general admission if I’m honest, I’ve always gone through my bf’s workplace (he works with F1) so been fortunate to get a pass through that but this year I spent a lot of time in what seemed to be the inner track area when the races weren’t on and it was very enjoyable, especially seeing the drivers come in! Lots going on too. When I’m at in the paddock, etc. I have to be on my best behaviour and be very calm hence why I go rogue elsewhereI've never been to a GP ever and came on here today to see of y'all had any tips??

That's good to know. Was considering getting in inner track pass last year but didn't.
