Aston Martin have out a clip on Instagram of Seb and it was like the old Seb back. So glad he’s in a better place.
Good luck with your exam, studying in good weather is hard!

Just watched the race tonight - had other commitments and also studying for an exam which is why I’ve been quieter than usual. 😭😭
Proper chuckled to my self with all your comments - you’re all so funny 😆😂

what a race!! Baku certainly delivered all weekend including F2 - loved it all!!

Very interested to see what comes of the pirelli tyre investigation… not good

Loved the podium though - chuffed for them all!! 💕💕
Good luck for exam!
Mental race

I said a while ago I was concerned about Seb, he looked so down but now seems to have found the right set up and pace so all good so far just hope it continues as love seekng that smile of his.
Just hate 1 sided teams, plainly obvious Ferrari were prioritising Charles, new poster boy. Well until a newbie comes along and that could be young Mick.

Re Yuki - I said to hubby yesterday that yuki is having English lessons to improve and it may well be that he comes across as rude because of his (lack of) command of the language. As an ex language teacher working with foreign nationals I was always having to defend their ‘lack of diplomacy’ to other staff because they didn’t understand they weren’t intending to be rude. It was also worse if they were stressed or upset - resorting to direct translation from their own language.

Found the clip although it wasn’t the marketing lady in this particular incident. It doesn’t seem so bad in isolation but within the whole episode it came across badly (treatment in meeting etc)

It brings it all back. Seb is a funny guy - you can’t tell him not to funny. It was nice to see Seb looking happy over the weekend.

I think Mercedes have finally broken Valtteri. He's been trying to keep his fight up for so long, but I think he's reached the end of the road.
It does and maybe he knows end of season that is it? If the alleged move of George to Mercs happens. Do feel for him a bit but he has had chances bit also had a lot of bad luck mechanically but also how do you fight against Lewis when he can do no wrong?

Yes, and I can imagine that trying to drive a 1000bhp machine as fast as possible whilst not slamming into a wall or another car is not conducive to the finer points of etiquette even for a native, much less so for a non-native English speaker. Especially when the person talking to you is telling you something blindingly obvious - "drive as fast as you can!".

From what I’ve heard, Yuki is extremely polite and very friendly but is very hot headed when he is in racing mode. From some of the stories, I get the impression a few things get lost in translation too.

I mean, I knew Dorilton were gonna make changes, and restructure the management, they need a full McLaren under Zac Brown style rebuild. But I am surprised to see Roberts leave so suddenly.

But I suppose compared to a company like McLaren where Zac became CEO, with Andreas being Team Principal, Williams probably doesn't need that to be quite so sperate of a role because Williams doesn't have as much other business areas as McLaren does.

And Jost Capito is more than qualified to be able to lead the rebuild I'd imagine.

10/10 Bottas is out after this season. Never have Mercedes made it so blatant they favour Hamilton.
I wonder if they take George, how will it go. I am not sure he would take the second seat easily. It would be sad if they break him. Lewis has too many years left, for George to wait for his time.
