I love Seb, so pleased for him and feel like he’s getting his old self back after toxic Ferrari drained it from him.
loads of rumours Russell signed for merc for 2022 at monaco and bottas has been told. Would explain his terrible form recently.
I also saw a story that merc lineup next year would be Russell and Vettel! Ha ha can’t see that as much as I’d love to see Seb in a merc.

I know Russel is fast, but it still surprise me how easily Toto dropped Esteban. He treated him like his golden child before, same rumors went on, how he would get Bottas seat.
Would also explain why Merc so willing to ruin Bottas' qualifying to help Hamilton.
On the wags F1 Instagram page, there was a picture of Valtteri and Tiffany walking in with Fred Vasseur. So will he be driving for Alfa Romeo (in the place of Kimi).
I also love Seb and him being back to himself after Ferrari. I was shocked at how that marketing woman spoke to him in drive to survive and their general disrespect of him.
I love russel but I don’t think he’s a good fit for Mercedes just yet, I think he needs to go to a midfield team for a few years before stepping up. He drove well in his single race stint at merc but I don’t know if he has the experience to challenge red bull for the constructors, Bottas is shitting all over their chances this year. I think Gasly would be a better move if they can poach him and I’d love to see a Lewis Gasly pairing.

Not surprised Dani is fed up of Red Bull/ or the drink. He was promoted/ demoted then really demoted.
yikes I wouldn’t know where to look. Seb was doing a promotional thing and cracked a joke and she said his last performance was nothing to joke about and pretty much told him to get on and do the job. I was gobsmacked. In fact drive to survive has been a massive eye opener on how awful some of the team principals are. Driver musical chairs is not good and you see the likes of Albon, Gasly and Vettel almost destroyed by their team.
Albon visibly reduces as RB make it clear he’s on his way out, even though he was denied podiums by other drivers. Was awful to watch. Same with Gasly. Just brutal.
So many folk absolutely bashing yuki for the way he spoke to his engineers and to an extent I get it, he definitely has a very hot temper that I’m sure he’ll work on over time, but I’d be absolutely bricking myself if I wasn’t getting consistent top 10’s in those teams so it’s not really surprising he’s so angry with himself.
Such a shame for the guys all in their early 20’s, the start of their career getting knocked down by one of the biggest teams.

I completely agree. Yuki strikes as someone who is very studious. He would have known looking at RB history how many drivers they have had, how the team line ups change. He is very young and from what I heard did not swear. That Ferrari segment in DTS was the most uncomfortable sequence ever. They drained Seb of his personality. Not the biggest Charles fan but they're going to the same to him and Carlos
Just watched the race tonight - had other commitments and also studying for an exam which is why I’ve been quieter than usual.

Yes - I wonder what Pirelli will find and do. The French GP is in less than two weeks so not long.
