If I remember correctly, Pierre hinted at the beginning in F1 in an interview (beyond the grid? Or something like that) that they were close but then Esteban acted different/did something. I got the feeling that he was either dirty on the track or steal his girlfriend.

However in the link above Esteban sent a text to Pierre so they must be friendly enough to have each other’s mobile. (Or did Esteban text an old number?)😳

Esteban doesn’t have a contract next year for alpine currently so he may move with Pierre taking the seat but then I don’t know where he’d go
Id be surprised if Daniel loses his seat but so far this season has not been great at all :/

Alpine are happy with Esteban’s performance so far so they say. I hope he does stay as he’s a great driver and one of the few without huge money behind him.

I think they are still friendly. I meant, Pierre said they were besties in f2, f3 or what. They grow up together. But when they were teens they were not that close anymore.

Family keep all the details VERY quiet but the last I heard was he’s awake and can hear people/knows what they’re saying but I’m not sure how responsive he is though. Really tragic event isn’t it ☹ Really feel for the family, must be hard but at least they have the resources to get him the best care!

There was meant to be a new docu coming out but I think it’s been delayed. I believe they will share more details but I could well be wrong here!

As expected. The World Economic Forum was recently cancelled there too.

I reckon they will slot in Turkey for it (again lol).

I still fully expect Japan, Mexico and Brazil to get cancelled (50/50 on Australia). If I was Roger Penske I would try to get F1 to Indy to form a double header with Austin.

I would not be surprised if they stayed in Europe and finish it in abu dhabi.

I just realised Gasly moved to Dubai for no tax. I wonder if George would follow him. Monaco is nice, but way too expensive for the young drivers. I am not sure why they skip switzerland, maybe not that easy.

Switzerland does have tax and it was increased in recent years and thus became less attractive for athletes.
