I am going to be godmother to my best friends daughter and the Christening is this week. I've known her since we were 5 so I am prob just thinking its odd in that context when were I come from people generally only pick family or really close friends.
Congratulations on becoming a godmother!
No - I get you - I think famous people are on a whole different league of normal. I mean isn’t Liz Hurley Brooklyn Beckham’s godmother?!
I know Daniel did visit Wilf a fair bit again on stories. I wondered if they became friends because Daniel’s family are so far away. I think Daniel is good friends with Natalie’s husband as well.

I could not watch it live yesterday, but I am so happy for the podium, specially Carlos! 🥳

It was probably the only bad weekend for Mercedes. Sad for both drivers. But it made me laugh, that toddler Lewis is back! No best fans, best factory, best team! Just no. Everything sucks.

Sad news

I don't really get the 'toddler' comments about Lewis tbh. Every other driver gets frustrated on their radio with their team when the team messes up, but they all seem to escape criticism for it when it happens...

I'd be more worried if Lewis didn't show his frustrations yesterday. Same applies to the likes of Vettel, Verstappen, etc who are never short of stern words in the cockpit when things are going bad.

I think his response on the radio was fair- most other drivers would’ve been similar. Some of the stuff after the race may have been perceived as childish

Interestingly when he crossed the finish line he said nothing on the radio in response to being told he was P7. It was silence. Most people say something after a bad race even if it’s just that as a team they will learn from what’s happened and move on.

Some of his comments in interviews though were a bit questionable. He made one comment that he had nothing he could learn from this race but the team did. Like he has to accept some of the blame- he did awful all weekend (compared to Valterri) so there must be some learning from what happened. He can’t blame it all on the team (unless there was some significant difference between the two cars set up to explain it)

Bottas got on top of the car in a way Hamilton never did. Hamilton has to accept and learn from that. His race was ruined because of a poor qualifying. Everyone knows track position is king on the streets of Monte Carlo. He has to take some of the blame for that.

He was rather petulant. He's allowed to be annoyed and angry, but the petulance and moodiness just makes him come across as a bit of a gob.

Lewis' comments after the race reminded me of how he acted for a time during the Ron Dennis McLaren days

He still need to learn, untill he does not hold up Gasly at pit.
Of course and he did apologise pretty much straight away after a telling off but even Gasly had things to learn so does Max to be fair. A few more do all young and time to learn. Maybe Kimi might be the only one not bothered to learn 😄

Kimi is the king!

My favourite Lewis moment is when he was joking with Fernando, about Nando coming back as an FIA boss. Maximum penalties!

Taken of Instagram 👀
I really don't see Bottas in a Williams. I think leaving the sport would be preferable to that.

To me, he is a bit childlike in the way it comes across. Others seem angry, he seems twiney. Some of it may be the portrayal of what is shown on TV, like he just kept complaining.
