The RB/AT relationship is obviously there and AT do what they are ordered by RB but the engine manufacturers hold power over the other teams by supplying them. If Mercedes have an issue they want to vote for/against they can threaten to withdraw and then McLaren and Williams would vote with them or they would be left high and dry without an engine supplier.
Same with Haas and Ferrari. It’s a bit simplistic to just try and end the shared ownership of RB and AT. And is there anyone else who would buy AT would we be a team down?

I was just reading about this! Quite a bold move so close to the new season.
Apparently the sponsors are unhappy as well as without him they won’t get the same coverage due to being at the back of the grid and boring drivers (sorry Kev and Nico). Guenther was who kept people interested in Haas. Wonder if they will now leave as Andretti enter

One article has alluded his contract was up.. surely they should have sorted before 55 days out. The technical director has gone too, I do think Andretti will replace haas or push gene to wonder why he’s putting money in

And why are Red Bull now shortened to RB? I do wonder with all this abbreviating names can get even more confused.com. anyway we'll see how it all pans out soon.
But please 🙏 another team has to take on Red Bull we need it the sport needs it.
