Yes to the last bit! I'm obviously a huge Mercedes Fan but at this point I'd be rooting for literally any other team to beat Red Bull.

I've got nothing against Ferrari at all, probably my 2nd team, but I'll be incredibly sad if Lewis didn't see his career out in a Merc. It can only mean merc have got a bloody tractor again? Or has he always lusted after a season with the prancing horse?

Honestly when I seen Will Buxton's tweet I was like oh yeah whatever you dramatic cow.

I'm shocked, I had been suspicious them not sorting Carlos' contract but I would never have guessed that's why!

It’s being reported as basically a done deal. I wonder when Toto found out?
Carlos to Audi and then who to Mercedes?

It’s like a romantic notion thing isn’t it, they all seem to have to do a stint at Ferrari before retirement. He can’t be expecting to win anything unless a new strategist was part of his deal too?!

Did Charles know Lewis was coming when he signed his multi year deal? I’m assuming giving Arthur a go in an old Ferrari was not what convinced him to become a number two driver to a seven time world champion.

And is this Lewis giving up on an eighth title? Going for a career swan song in red?

I thought this too (the latter part) maybe 1 or 2 years at Ferrari and retire. Might have a chance. Maybe?
Wonder how Carlos feels?
