Going back to bed is absolutely appropriate self care right now ❤ I hope today has gone as well as it possibly could have under the circumstances

It went well. The celebration of life is planed exactly as mum would like. Unfortunately I asked them how she was settling in. They said she’s peaceful and I was like that’s good makes a change🫣😂 then I remembered where I was😅

I'm sure your mum would have giggled at that. Well done for today
It's so draining just do what you need to do ❤

I’m glad. It’s ok to use a bit of humour, 100%!

Thank you, I’ve been home less than an hour and I’m in my pjs already❤

If I don’t laugh I’ll cry so humour is always good ❤
Sometimes all you need is to get in bed and have a good cry. I find getting in bed, putting a disney movie on and cuddling my cat is the best therapy in the world.

Take your time. You are doing something you've never done before. Be proud of yourself for that. Baby steps forward are still steps ❤

I felt okay ish yesterday but today I’m a mess. I’m angry and I just feel done? I should be planning my babies first birthday not my mums funeral I just don’t want to do this anymore

Oh I wish I could reach through the screen and give you a hug. I'm so sorry. Life is just absolutely crappy sometimes.

Life is tit and these next months will be a rollercoaster - try and lean into it if you feel tit. Don’t put pressure on yourself. Have a rant on here - everyone is here for you with no expectations ❤

Thank you. I’m moving from one emotion to the next so fast. Part of me is thinking maybe it isn’t mum maybe it’s a mix up but then if she was here she’d be in contact and around we go again ❤

I feel I should add I’m certainly not thinking about harming myself or anyone else not at all. But if I had the option of just not waking up tomorrow I feel I’d take it💔

I’m sorry I’ve been going on for pages about this but I don’t feel able to talk to many people in real life because everyone has their own grief. Mine is no worse than anyone else’s I’m just not coping very well💔

Not looking for advice or anything just wanna feel that I'm letting it out.

After 2 years of being unemployed i finally found a job in healthcare (not uk) last month.
I have just 1 day off on a weekday, and it's different to my husband's weekend. I feel so lonely, working long shifts and my colleague refuses to change the schedule as there's "no transportation"
She's a generally nice person but is being very selfish.
Because of this, i feel alone.
My husband and i are under a lot of stress. So even our time together is filled with stress and we mostly wanna rest and not interact much.
I don't live in the same country as my family.
I feel so drained. I have been working from 1230 to 2100 for the past 2 weeks and i already feel that i cant go any longer.

Management has been useless, they tried to find solutions but my colleague is unable to be flexible. She might leave if she can't arrange transportation. The workload on me will increase then as well as I'm not experienced and it's my first proper job.

We are next to the manager so i heard him talking with a doctor about our situation and they were making fun of us.

I can't seem to decide what to do as there's a possibility that my colleague finds a solution for a split shift but i won't know until tomorrow.
Until then, I'm at work, crying and doing my best at controlling my temper as I'm just fed up.

I can't find another job and generally working conditions are going to be like this in any work place as the healthcare professionals (except dr) suffer here.

There are details that i can't write, cuz I'm too tired, so I'm not waiting for any advice. I just wanna vent and hope that time will clear my mind and i can make a decision that best fits my personal life and career goals.

In the meantime I'm just gonna sit and do nothing as the usual norm in my evening shift. I wonder if it's all worth it..

My colleague says to me and to the management that she's gonna leave but actually wants to stay. She just wants to work the normal working hours and take her regular weekend off and leave to me the evening shifts and working on the weekends. She probably wants the management to kick me and keep her, and find another poor soul who would work the hours she doesn't like.

I love my job and I don't wanna leave but i also deserve to be treated fairly. Let's see how it goes

I saw mum today, I was shocked to see she is actually dead. There wasn’t a mistake like I hoped for. But I said goodbye 💔

Hope you are ok. I’m glad you got to say your goodbyes. I know it must be so very traumatic for you but I found it helpful ultimately as it was this that helped me to accept she had gone. Take care lovely xx
