Not sure I agree with this, if she was a fame hungry witch I’m sure she would be using Jack’s platform to promote herself and her ‘blogging / YT’ but she’s not. If you visited her Instagram / YouTube you wouldn’t even know she is with Jack, she could really use that to her advantage if she / they were happy with it but she doesn’t. I don’t understand the reasoning behind her still being with him and I don’t think we ever will, but I definitely don’t agree that she sticks with him to be famous.

Obviously I don't condone what Rooney did (and continually does). But it is an example of why footballers often have minders/bodyguards.
It's also a reason why people who are rich enough (and low enough on respect for their wives if they are married) pay for escorts that know how to be discreet. I know a few pages back it got funny where literally any woman seen near a footballer was labelled as escort, but it is a thing that happens more than you might think.

Well if you went to Jack’s insta you would never believe he had a long term girlfriend would you, and she can’t use Jack even if she did it wouldn’t give her any opportunities there are plenty of girls blogging and modelling on insta who are far prettier and more likeable than Sasha and they don’t have footballer boyfriends. Of course she stays with him to try and be famous why would you let a man repeatedly and continually cheat on you unless you wanted something from the relationship. It’s not happening and won’t happen for her, and if he moves to Man City well let’s just say his options will most definitely be open.

I wonder if that is how Colleen handles it - Wayne always cheats either escorts or party girls— I wonder if she would be still be forgiving if he cheated and it got publicised with someone she knew John Terry or Ryan Giggs style.
I think if she could name him she would absolutely get as much attention and fame from that as she could. But it’s clear he doesn’t allow her to post him.

I feel bad for Rooney. But I’m not sure I agree there is a double standard here in terms of women getting away with it. Because police have been called (a good thing) so these women will potentially face consequences. Maybe I’m delusional but I can think of countless times where I’ve seen male footy Twitter and Twitter in general use the “she was drunk she was asking for it line.” I’ve had friends get told that in real life by people who are supposed to help. A lot of very public trials involving s*xual ass**lt the woman being drunk impacts how people view the case (Stanford r*pist barely having to do time for example). Again I feel for Rooney but I’m not sure the world is much kinder to women in these situations
The thing is he seems to handle it all so badly. It's like when he drove drunk the last time. A multi millionaire like him should have a minder driving him places and making sure there's no photos. You got made fun of earlier in the thread talking about bodyguards, but this is why they exist.
i can certainly understand people feeling sorry for her and definitely think it's out of order for anyone to slam her appearance etc. like she is a person at the end of the day. but also i don't get why some people on here get pressed when she's brought up in a negative way when we're commenting on his behaviour. it's a gossip thread?! about footballers and WAGS? that's the whole point lol

Absolutely the world is not kind to women in that situation. The Ulster rugby rape case is an example of how terrible it can be for women who report sexual assault.

Yeah, people have definitely made comments about her having weasle-y features. She is pretty when she's not caked in make up and dying her hair a colour that doesn't suit her.
