Their families probably do not want to be filmed all that much. Her sister sometimes is, her mum does like a bit of camera attention, but other than that, nobody seems to be that keen. I like that Fleur respects that instead of shoving the camera down their faces.

Really really enjoyed her vlog, it wasn’t forced at all and you tell how much they love each other.
She also seems to enjoy motherhood now, she’s so different to fleur with a newborn!

I never thought I’d like fleur after she had river, using her child as a headless billboard and acting like she was a perfect mum with a perfect baby really put me off her, but I think she struggled more than she let on and now she’s genuinely happy and comfortable in her life.

her personality seems so different and she seems so removed from other influencers.

Fleur is clearly extroverted and loves having friends around. The minute she’s back from a trip she already has a friend over. Her childhood friends all seem to be of considerable means and able to go on constant vacations with her, yearly ski trips, trips to Portugal for her birthday, summer holidays, etc. I think a lot of people are blinded by their admiration for her when I am personally exhausted by her need for socialization. Don’t understand why youtubers who are more introverted and want to just hole up at home are looked down upon.
I think some of Fleur’s best vlogs were during lockdown when it was just the three of them at home. She didn’t seem upset at not being able to socialise

They can go for a drive on their land, its acres and acres worth. Its absolutely huge. Not sure about the pool but would be interesting if they have one and not show it.
I'd love for her to come out and say "I was born into wealth and I married into wealth like it or lump it" just so we can see her massive house in all its glory and all that land.

I have always really liked her. It’s hardly her fault that she was born into money. Yes she lives a lifestyle far removed from mine but who cares. They seem genuinely in love, have a beautiful daughter and numerous fur babies.

You’d have to be mean spirited to hate or resent her

I blow hot and cold with Fleur. The recent content focused around their home life has been charming, she seems capable and a devoted mum. I wish she'd ditch the haul/what I got vlogs though, we know they have a lot of money (the 'I saved up' thing she reels out from time to time is crazy) and is really out of step with most people's circumstance at the moment. It's creative to make something out of not not very much, any fool can drop a shed load of cash on a new bag.

Poor Fleur and Mike 😢 losing a baby is always heartbreaking. I really hope they have a successful pregnancy soon, they have such a lovely little family...I’ve so enjoyed her isolation vlogs showing more of River, she’s a great mum!

Her channel has always been more on the luxury side so it’s nothing new...

Surely we can’t slag someone off for spending their own money the way they want to, it’s not her fault that we aren’t filthy rich 😂😂😂😂

Another vlog from her, I am loving them. Fleur seems like a great mother. I remember when River was a baby she seemed detached but now that River is older, you can see how much she enjoys it. I find Fleur really calming and her vlogs are a nice escape.

It must have been a shock for her to have the first miscarriage. By all accounts she got pregnant straight away with River and had an easy enough pregnancy. I know these things can and do happen but I guess you’d just be lulled into a false sense of security. I admire her for talking about it in the way she is.

Fleur is the only YouTuber I’ve stayed subscribed to, in fact I’ve probably been subscribed to her for almost all of the 10 years.
I like her because she’s stayed true to herself. And I love mike too!

She mentioned in one of her vlogs she had this big rash and later said it's psoriasis I think. Did she not also mention her Grandma had Covid when she talked about her miscarriage? But I have feeling something else happend. Her face looks puffy like she's been crying and the way she apologised for not vlogging seemed unlike her. Her voice went so soft like shes genuinely so sorry for not vlogging. I enjoy her vlogs and always liked her so hope she's okay.

I’m really enjoying Fleur’s vlogs at the moment... it’s a breath of fresh air from the likes of EmShel and Frow who are clearly struggling due to lack of any real personality... I find it really calming watching Fleur at the moment and I think she’s handling everything just right. The auction was a great idea and raised much needed money at this time and i definitely 👏🏼 her for that. 👍🏼

I’ve always liked Fleur. I’ve also had a miscarriage recently and going for the scan alone was seriously depressing.

I think this goes to show that a lot of the time, its not money and wealth that makes influencers unrelatabe or disliked, its just their personality.
Fleur and Mike both come from such huge wealth, but like someone said previously, they don't show off, they don't rub it in your face, but they don't try and hide it and be deceitful either.

The most recent vlog was so sad, and so so personal, it felt like it was one of my friends telling me. It was so stripped back and genuine.
I have had issues conceiving also, and it was nice for someone to talk about it without all the frills, she just said it for what it is.
I have always liked Fleur too and honestly have so much respect for her especially now.

River is so cute.
Always loved her Vlogmas and really nice that she went to that massive Oxfam shop and bought all that stuff for River second hand and for a great cause!

I guess you can add me to the list of meanies, because I completely agree with them. We are in the middle of a global pandemic that has left millions and millions of people without jobs and struggling to afford to just exist. Now is not the time for charity auctions. If you are financially fortunate, just donate the money yourself and be done with it. Her heart was in the right place but her methods left a lot to be desired. Talk about failing to read the room.

Edit: Criticism of her methods does not equate to me saying "she should have just done nothing." Just so we're clear. And yes, my family is also donating during this time. So don't come at me with any of that nonsense.

Edit #2: If you are in the financially fortunate category, maybe this article can help you decide where your money can do some good: COVID-19 Non-Profit Companies

Also, please consider donating non-perishables to the food bank. Call around to shelters and see what they need. If you hunt, fish, farm, or just have any extra food sitting in your freezers that you don't think you'll use any time soon, ask your local community if they know people who could use it. You can also cook it up and ask a soup kitchen if they could use it. If you sew, call around to local businesses that are open and ask them if their employees would like masks.
I fail to see how she has “ failed to read the room”. Why does it matter how money is raised? All sorts of methods are being used to raise awareness and funds. From an old man doing laps of his garden, to people running 5k and donating a fiver. It’s all people coming together for a worthwhile cause. The more awareness the better. I find all that nice, kind, loving and helpful. If your way of being kind is hunting or sewing etc then great. But be kind to others too.

I’m obviously very sad for her and I wish her well but can I just say how refreshing it was for someone like her (YouTuber, influencer whatever she is) to share the news in such a calm, casual, normal way instead of a ‘sit down video’ with huge lights in her face and crocodile tears along with a misleading title, you get the point..... This is probably why I’ve always still liked Fleur, sure she’s had to figure out a way to make money on her social media (who wouldn’t? Insert sponsorships and gifted trips) but she seems to still have her dignity left and she obviously knows who she is behind this ‘perfect life’ on Instagram and I can’t say that about a lot of Youtubers so good for her! I applaud her.
Completely agree with this. I feel very sad for her. I like Fleur. Yes, she comes from a monied background, but she is down to earth and not at all affected, snobby or pretentious, unlike some. I wondered if all was well last year when she wrote a comment on instagram criticising someone who was asking when she was going to have another baby. Also agree with the person higher up this thread - why do people think they have the right to ask questions anyway about whether women are going to have another baby? So personal and potentially upsetting for anyone either trying to have a baby or having lost one. Poor Fleur. She has been through a lot with two miscarriages and also her Granny now in hospital with Covid. I hope things get better for her soon and she is being gentle with herself.

I know. If I spent £150 (let's go with the middle ground) on a pan that someone then said 'Oh I'm just going to use it for decoration' I would not be happy. But I guess I don't hang around in those kind of circles where a £150 gift is nothing......
If I give someone a gift, of whatever value, I'm happy to have spent the money. I wouldn't go getting annoyed with them if they didn't use it at all or for the purpose intended. Once you give a gift it's no longer yours to decide what to do with it. It might not be someone's style or they might not need it.
