Piglet is probably a play on the fact that the dog is a sausage dog and sausages are pork so is a fairly cool name for that type of dog imo.I remember when I first started watching Fleur years ago and thinking "did she really name her dog Woof? She should never be allowed to name a human". I kind of like the name Treacle for a dog, but Squidge and Piglet? Oh no baby what is you doin'...
I have always liked Fleur, despite being annoyed with her behaviour from time to time, but her (and Mike's, apparently) naming skills are horrendous.
Something that has always stuck in my head for some reason was reading someone mention either on here or GG that River wasn't a good name because what if she ended up having rhotacism like Johnathan Ross. Which I thought was the stupidest criticism of a name but it made me laugh and now it's all I can think about.

I think I read a page or so back that one of her cats is called Beaver. Another play on a colloquial term for a ‘cat’ so I think they just like funny names for animals.
So dignified when talking about her miscarriages. I liked how she asked viewers not to comment with medical advice too. Watched a few of her vlogs (first time in over a year!) and thought they were really refreshing, not much shilling. I like Mike too. (Usually hate influencer partners!)

i forgot about this but was reading some comments on fleur’s instagram account, and was reminded of one of her lockdown vlogs, where she, mike and river are looking at dolls. mike describes the black doll as having ‘crazy hair.’ I don’t think this was outwardly racist and I think it was a lapse of judgement, but as a black person i was quite shocked and annoyed it. Curious to know you guy’s thoughts on it?
That is an ignorant comment but he is white privileged. He’s never had to consider that others have different hair types!

It was her week 8 vlog, at the 24:20 mark. However I’ve watched it back and she seems to have cut his comment out. Just before Mike says the doll is ‘pretty cool,’ that’s when he said it. I’m glad that she removed but I wish she’d acknowledged it
