Fleur has always been so dignified and classy about the way she shares her life. I have a lot of respect for her. So sad that she's been going through this. Miscarriage's aren't spoken about often enough, they are desperately heartbreaking. She's so lucky to have beautiful River, she looks such a joyful child. I do hope she gets her rainbow soon.

Either way, why does she need to donate at all? She doesn’t, she could do what other influencers over doing,
Fuck all.

God knows how mikes business is doing/suffering now either.
this isn’t a rave thread and I’m well aware I sound ravey. 😏

but she did her lockdown beauty routine, I don’t usually watch uploads like that but desperate times 🤷‍♀️
And she mentioned numerous times that the stuff she was using was expensive.....

compared to Millen with her 700 quid cream and her electrician husband using creme de la mar on his sore eyes like it’s the norm 🤷‍♀️
the one influencer who is stinking rich seems the most down to earth atm.

I think what I like about her vlogs right now is they’re so basic, she’s doing nothing, it’s just her mike and river, and again (rave comment incoming) I love seeing them as a family, I don’t need to give it much attention, it’s nothing groundbreaking, she’s not trying to hide any mention of the corona.
It’s just normal, I seriously watched her wash a pig (sorry dog) in a sink and I’m not ashamed to say it 😐
They way she is with river, the mushrooms, the fact she just wants to sit in the car, the frustrations of a toddler 🤣
I feel like fluer of 12 months ago would be telling us river had completely 12 work sheets for age 4/5 and had taken the dogs on a nature walk alone because she’s that advanced.

This might be a controversial opinion but I'm not very surprised that Fleur's sort of fallen out with a lot of her fellow youtubers (Louise, Ingrid, Tanya, etc.) over the years and I don't think it's because she's a bad person.

Fleur's way more privileged than most of these gurus, who rely entirely on their channels to support their current lifestyles, which is vastly different than the ones they had pre-youtube. Other than some free stuff and invitations to certain events, Fleur's standard of living hasn't changed all that much with youtube. While Fleur is spoiled and sometimes a bit out of touch with your average person, I do think she's the type to want to cultivate genuine relationships (a lot of her offline friendships seem to have remained over the years and she's very generous to her family and friends). I feel like most of these youtubers just build youtube friendships to get more sponsorships, views, & subscribers. Nothing wrong with that from a business perspective but I don't really think that's Fleur's crowd. Different values and circumstances and no one's in the wrong imho.

We don't know if she had PND, but she did do more than go 'on a trip', she was almost away more than she was at home at one point.
Let's see how she'll be after Covid-19. It's not as if she needs to work away from home to make ends meet....
Really don't like the working mum bashing. It's not just about making money. Work gives you a sense of purpose and a life outside of the home - this is essential for self-esteem, a sense of self and frankly a topic of discussion outside of baby and home. Socialisation at work is REALLY important. I've had to work from home since mid-March and I am so utterly lonely, I really under-estimated how much it would affect me.

So many women have kids, give up their lives and then become utter shells of people because their entire personality became built on being 'mum'. And then of course the children grow up, make friends and fly the nest and what are you left with?

I’m so so pleased she did this, and in the dignified way she did. She seems to have such a perfect life on the outside so to highlight that bad things happen to everyone. And talking about it in a vlog rather than a dramatic crying video brings it into the open as something we should be easier talking about because it isn’t shameful. I sometimes think Fleur has such a sheltered easy life, but this made me really relate to and respect the way she dealt with it

I don’t understand all the back and forth on this! Who cares about how much eveyone weighs or what is a healthy weight for you.

Fleur is perfectly normal size and her weight has been pretty consistent during her entire time on YouTube.

I'm fairly certain Fleur would've discussed exercising with her doctor if she thought it was such a concern for her health. I don't think we should speculate about any correlation between exercise and pregnancy/miscarriage because we are neither Fleur nor her doctor. It's really not nice to discuss another woman's pregnancy/miscarriages as it can be triggering. Also fairly certain that Fleur isn't bulimic or obsessed with working out so doing exercise really isn't an issue.

She gave River her own plate of sushi, one of which was tuna mayo, then had all this left over. The vegan that eats tuna 🤨

View attachment 120835
but she’s never said she’s fully vegan?
she’s plant based and she’s always very clear with the viewers that she “cheats”

why is that an issue?
I personally love that she’s giving River a varied diet.
Especially when the kid loves fish.

Oh to have to drive to a field, across some cattle grid, to have a family picnic, all without leaving your own grounds. She's so relatable you guyssss...
I prefer this over the many influencers
who pretend to be relatable even though they’re clearly not. Much rather have someone who’s
honest and clearly has a different life to me

Really enjoyed her Q & A video. Its probably the most open, honest, non-dramatic, and authentic one I've ever seen on YouTube when talking about a serious subject.

All, let's move on from this and not get into an offtopic argument that spoils the thread :)

She has matured so much, way ahead of her 'colleagues'. When she said she couldn't think of anything good about herself in the past year, it really got me. Great to see her being so reflective and raw.

I think I prefer the hall. I’m left politically but I don’t know how I feel about inheritance tax, like I guess they’re millionaires so maybe they should just pay it but anyone who has assets worth over 350k has to do I don’t think it should unreasonable to try to avoid it lol, like for many people it’s not their fault house prices have risen so much for example. Plus woodland/land is exempt from it which is the bigger issue here.

I actually don’t know why I like Fleur when she and mike probably vote Tory
I find your comment so interesting, would you take an instant dislike to someone who doesn’t share the same political views as you do? I vote very differently to my best friend and while we have some healthy discussions around politics, I don’t think it’s fair to immediately dislike someone for it. That seems very closed minded to me.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but is fleurs big charity initiative simply her donating some items towards an auction? The woman is wealthier than most of us can ever dream of and we are supposed to applaud her for giving away a few things she owns (out of a ludicrous amount). I just find it a bit tacky when a millionaire can spend probably tens of thousands on a new kitchen but asks others to donate their hard earned money whilst she is hailed as a hero.

Is she at least matching the money?
This is actually a really mean comment. How can anyone possibly complain about someone raising money for such a worthwhile cause? Obviously you’d rather she’d done nothing as this has offended you so much. Amazing.

A lot of people think this website is full of hatred and negativity but the amount of compassion and kindness on this thread since Fleur told us this news yesterday has been really lovely to see ❤

Crikey, life is to be lived for eating delicious toast, surely?! There’s no better feeling than coming in from a ten hour day at work and a cold drive home, to then curl up on the couch with a cosy plate of buttery toast.

Toast once a week? Nah, mate. The world is rubbish enough as it is without the deprivation of simple pleasures.

I'm so sorry for her, and i know how she feels, must have been a total shock after having an easy time with River.

She's the only blogger who has been genuine and normal (that i've watched) in lockdown, and I send lots of love to her and i'm sure she will get there!

I’m glad she was honest about Botox but it does make me a bit sad. She’s early 30s and will be having Botox twice a year for what, the next 30 years? And probably increasing in time. I’m not slagging off Fleur here, just the whole system really, that says women can’t possibly show aging. I know it’s her choice and she uses her face to sell stuff but Idk it just makes you realise what we’re up against as women. How many viewers will think, oh I must do this too? But many will not have Fleur’s money to spare for this kind of stuff. Again not her fault/problem I know. Anyway like others said I enjoyed the Q&A and all her content atm.
