Singling our teachers is really weird in that post because there’s loads of jobs where you don’t have to work between Christmas and new year?! There are loads of office jobs where the offices are closed in that time, my Mum and sister were saying today they are actually forced to take those days as annual leave because their offices are closed and they work in different industries. If anything it’s probably specific to retail/hospitality jobs that you’re required to work between Christmas and new year?
This is exactly what I thought!
My Mum is off too and my Sister would be too of she hadn't changed jobs.
Both in completely different jobs!

Builders / joiners / electricians etc they all close for 2 weeks as well like schools do!! ( ok maybe not all but a lot do) Not just teachers are off for Christmas 🤨.

Slating teachers on their latest post. Nice!
mom a teacher and I’m very lucky to be off over Christmas but I still have planning, assessments, displays and the plans for special needs children to do. Needless to say I don’t have the salary to have a new Range Rover like the twons. Teachers don’t get paid for the hours they work each week so our time off is our ‘annual leave’ then the fact we’re not even paid for the hours the children spend in school let alone the extra. Hate their sarcy comments trying to put everyone else down, doesn’t look like they’ve done all that much work over Christmas based on their insta. They’re boss babes but only if it profits themselves, quite happy to belittle everyone else.
Then when someone asks if they can order baked goods they say they aren’t open for the week, so the post was pointless. Not many hospitality based jobs have a whole week off at Christmas, they could do New Years cakes 🤷🏻‍♀️

Completely agree with the above. Notice a few people have called them out in the comments on their teacher slating post. Good! Then they’ve replied ‘hope we didn’t offend you’ well obviously yes. Then blamed seeing a meme about teachers being off? Rubbish! Can’t stick them and their self righteous ways. Unfollowed after the ignorant teaching comment.
wait for the teaching strikes in January and they’ll start the slagging off again as they’ll have to look after their own child for once.
got the impression they were making digs at Royal Mail during the strikes and how it impacted them. So basically everyone else suck it up and get on you don’t have a right to strike but the twins will moan they’re losing money because they chose to close at Christmas?!

They were blatantly making dogs at Royal Mail when the truth was that none of their online products were selling.

Wait, so they're putting post about how it's hard to find a job (unless you're a teacher 🙄🙄) that closes between Christmas and New year, even though they state they've closed every year and you need to buy things from their shop and share their posts and blah blah to give them more money whilst they're in tenerife?!

They want money from people at home, struggling with paying for heating, people actually working between Christmas and new year, people who may have struggled to pay for Christmas....
Whilst they're sat in Tenerife

That post about begging people to support small businesses and complaining about the cost of living crisis… are we honestly talking about the same people who share photos of their multiple holidays abroad/designer bags/flash cars/big houses/new kitchens on the same business account 🤔

They are so out of touch with reality it’s embarrassing. It’s fine to have money and spend it how you like, but to constantly plaster it all over the business account is really tasteless and unprofessional. Do people not realise things like that have potential to lose you customers?

The kitchen thing wound me up 😤. They’re trying to promote the kitchen company but wow it’s out of touch. Especially after the posts complaint about losing loads of income due to Royal Mail strikes and Christmas 😅
