Errrrr do they think we were born yesterday? We’ve seen their huge houses and endless holidays this year, I’m pretty sure they can absorb a lost 20 quid, fucking hell

The twins are clearly very business minded. Some of their choices (cake jars for unused bits of cake etc) are savvy and you could argue, good because of reducing food waste.
But, they ethics really don’t sit right with me. If they were a larger company they would have to display nutritional information and I’m guessing that would be pretty shocking.
At a time where we have sugar taxes, people are becoming more aware of what is healthy or not they are pumping so much sugar, fat and almost completely ultra processed ingredients into what seems like mainly a younger demographic. They market themselves as a fun, small bakery which sells hand baked goods, which should at least mean decent ingredients but that’s not the case at all. And I’m not talking about the price but the quality of their ingredients. It’s all chemicals. I’d be shocked if they hadn’t heard of ultra processed food and didn’t know what they were putting into their products. It’s just all addictive crap and I’m guessing they just don’t care.

And now, a story about adding clearpay/klarna to their website. No one should be using finance to buy crappy brownies. They know this. We know this. But they are greedy and don’t seem to have a conscious. I don’t want to criticise a seemingly successful woman run business BUT at the same time their customers are mainly younger women/girls and they seem willing to continually exploit this audience.

I work in a shop and you check every single transaction has gone through before the customer leaves, it's literally just your job. We occasionally have a transaction that says it's gone through but there's been some till error somewhere along the line and it hasn't, do you know what you do? Go ah ffs and move on. You absolutely do not chase the customer up because it isn't their fault and you most definitely NEVER post about it on social media to shame the person and embarrass them infront of thousands of people as if they are either skint or have robbed you blind of some fucking cupcakes.

Girls, let's face it, neither of you are hard up, what's £36 to you? Act like professionals for once will you.

I dont know what's classed as a small business really, but are they really a small business anymore?
A shop, a factory type thing with a bunch of staff, products in shops across the country, a permenant stall in another shop.
Enough profit to buy themselves 2 big houses and fund multiple holidays abroad?

Very hard to have any sympathy for them when they're off on their 4th or 5th holidays abroad whilst others are struggling to decide if they can afford heating.

Just read the latest Instagram stories. I don’t think they realise how rude they come across on social media. It should be down to the staff to check the payment had gone through, not the customer. Yes I agree it shouldn’t just be okay for it to happen all the time, but it was a staff members fault.

The customer may not have social media or even follow them! Just accept you need to do some staff refresher training!

Have I really just honestly seen a full on grid post of Lauren being like everyone look at me and my weight loss. On a bakery business account. A full on grid post 🤯 of course it’s not enough to post on her own personal account or share with real life friends and family, she needs to share it with the internet so it can stroke her ego. Absolute weird behaviour. For someone who makes out she has it all, she clearly does have a sad life if she feels the need to post that.

Love that she tried to make it about sharing her personal trainer rather than just a shameless look at me post. Hun there’s a cost of living crisis, no one needs you saying ‘I recommend if you’ve got the funds’ what a fucking patronising comment!

I don’t really think it’s mean they’ve left inka.. she wouldn’t get that much out of it and she is being well looked after. It’s a treat for Alba given she starts school / birthday present I think too. What’s the issue. Inka isn’t old enough to care or remember 😳 in this instance I disagree with people. Fair enough if it was a week long holiday at the beach but it’s Disney land.

Wait, so they're putting post about how it's hard to find a job (unless you're a teacher 🙄🙄) that closes between Christmas and New year, even though they state they've closed every year and you need to buy things from their shop and share their posts and blah blah to give them more money whilst they're in tenerife?!

They want money from people at home, struggling with paying for heating, people actually working between Christmas and new year, people who may have struggled to pay for Christmas....
Whilst they're sat in Tenerife

So I work for Royal Mail and j think it’s a bit shitty them saying they need a dependable and consistent service.
i understand these strikes are shit for everyone but put yourself in our shoes. We do not want to strike But don’t really have much of a choice cos of what the CEOs are trying to do to the company
Just think they could have worded it a bit better

I’m sorry it just doesn’t sit right with me the amount they leave their children to go on holidays and then seeing they’ve gone to Disney and left one daughter at home. I get she may be too little to go on rides but I wouldn’t dream of a family Disney holiday but I’ll leave one child behind. Either go together and suck up the fact you can’t all do everything or wait another year until she can enjoy too. Saddens me how the children just seem to be picked up for the photo ops / when it suits.

I find it so sad how Alba is so absorbed with YouTube culture at 4 years old. I know there’s a lot of other kids the same, but it makes me physically cringe when such young kids are going on about likes and subscribing to channels etc 🙄 idk in my opinion kids that age should be into like Disney and peppa pig or some shit, not randoms on YouTube. Why would you want your kid to grow up quicker than they have to 🤨

I know they love being iPad mums but have they not heard of Netflix, Disney plus, Iplayer etc?

Someone in the comments said why don't you just put it down as goodwill but they said the last time it happened they posted and people paid. What gets me is they clearly do well enough to do giveaways, so why can't they just learn from their mistakes and just let it go? Especially when you've said it's not th customers fault

I found their stories about supporting local independent businesses really patronising and annoying tbh, I'm all for that when people have the funds but small indies are always more expensive than supermarkets etc. Not really here for the having a pop at the public who probably can't afford their stuff anymore, how about they respond to the economic climate they work within and lower their prices 🤷‍♀️ people don't owe them a business. It's in particularly bad taste having shown off their big houses for a while too, as if people who are struggling are going to be arsed about their financial situation tbh

I really don’t think it’s funny getting alba to say swear words. Maybe I’m boring but you shouldn’t encourage your child that for a Tik tok challenge especially when she clearly didn’t want to!!

The post about the lurpak prices with the caption, why is cake so expensive… you use stork huns which is nowhere near the price?! And your cakes have always been over expensive! Nothing to do with inflation!
You keep trying to justify your prices of your buttercream drip cakes that require bare minimum skill huns 💁‍♀️

Shes overweight. Let’s be honest. I’m not body shaming cos I think she looks good but if she dropped a stone (which she has said she wants too but cba) she would be more defined curves. She doesn’t promote healthy body image really
I don’t really think someone’s weight should be anyone else’s problem
