Wow! Feeling so much frustration after reading the other thread, yet so helpless. I understand the poster being heavily pregnant must be going through some heavy hormonal changes but do think she went overboard with getting offended. I felt so sorry for our french lady, I genuinely believe she was speaking of her own experience and nothing else.
My heart broke after reading @Miscanthus message. I haven’t been through it myself, but I know I will not be able to have kids. My boyfriend has been through a life changing trauma and has lost complete faith in him to start a family, physically and mentally. Wouldn’t even try/think going IVF route and I know we aren’t married so if I want kids I should just end things now but it is so so hard to do that. Going through very difficult self reflection to decide what I want moving forward in my life and reading that thread last night left me speechless. I knew speaking up will just bring more chaos.
I find so much comfort in knowing all you ladies are here and are so much help and supportive xx
I really feel for you. I don’t know if this will help you BUT I was once told this and it has really helped me. If you get a coin and say heads I should do this...and tails I should do that - then you toss that coin and it gives you your answer - THEN if you want to say to yourself “best out of 3’ from the result you just got then the right decision is the opposite of what you just got on the first toss. (If it wasn’t you would not have wanted to do the best of 3 because your answer would have come with the first toss). I hope you can understand this very badly written post. I am more than happy to attempt to explain it again if it sounds like gibberish. Also, maybe the energy on the other thread has resonated with you because it might be more uppermost in your mind than you maybe thought it was. It’s almost like you’ve been given a processing trigger by reading the views of the posters. Energy is SO powerful...half the time we aren’t even aware of it. It might really help you to have a good hard think. On a quantum level we can at times damage ourselves by doing something that doesn’t feel right. If it feels right do it - if it doesn’t don’t. That’s your inner bell - It rings for a reason.

I think I may have said this before on this thread but Tesla said this;

If you want to understand the secrets of the universe; think in terms of Energy, Frequency and Vibration.

On Lidl thread. Please send help.....😢
I’m so sorry I didn’t reply to your plea for help earlier @Miscanthus ... I cannot imagine how incredibly difficult it must have been for you to read those comments after going through such a heartbreaking struggle.

I think it took a great deal of courage for you to post about something so personal and painful.

PS: I’m sending lots of love your way! ♥

I am now wondering if and whether the boxes in the hallway behind the entrance door to my flat created bad Feng Shui and blocked the flow of money into my flat and that this is responsible for the negative outcome of the court case.

I totally blame myself

@Hi there - So sorry for not being clearer I’ll try a hopefully clearer way.

1) I can’t decide what to do.
2) Is it better for me to stay in or is it better for me to go out?
3) I sit and think about this for a long time and because I can’t make a decision so I decide to toss a coin.
4) Heads it’s better for me to stay in.
5) Tails it’s better if I go out
6) I toss the coin
7) It comes down heads - so this means I should stay in.

However if at this stage I then say to myself best of 3 - it shows that really I was hoping it would advise me to go out. So if I toss it two more times I may get the result I wanted. At the point I tossed the coin I was completely focused on the answer I wanted/needed it to be.

So if I need to toss twice more my original answer of stay in wasn’t what I deep down wanted (Or possibly needed).

So if I toss the coin and don’t say best of 3 then that is because I am happy with the call of heads and staying in.

Wanting to toss the coin twice more means I know it’s right to go out. I would not have wanted to toss the coin again if I got the answer I wanted first time.

So the whole point of this is not actually tossing the coin 3 times its knowing that heads wasn’t right for you on the first toss.

I hope this helps make it a little clearer. If not we’ll go again x

It’s not good to have blockages no but from what you said the judge wasn’t on your side. So this is an external communication problem rather than a problem stemming from your home. I was wondering if you felt the proceedings felt rushed in any way?

You are kind to say that.

Yes, I did feel that things were a bit rushed - for me at least. I had asked the court to postpone the hearing but they declined.
So then there was the hearing and apparently the judge did not make many points / state many reasons, but said that he felt that the situation was not how I interpreted it. So my lawyer called me to say do we want to agree a compromise as otherwise you need to pay the other parties costs and it sounds like we will lose. So I agreed, reluctantly.

The evening before my lawyer called to say he felt quite optimistic and even said that he felt the other party's lawyer might be given a hard time, but the opposite was the case.

I am still a bit shaken and find it hard to believe. I feel treated so unfairly and am so regretful that I cannot get the money (I wanted to use it to buy a house).

I asked if it felt rushed to you because I have a friend who practises Criminal Law who is at her wits end at the moment because of the backlog of cases which are now starting to be processed through the courts ‘Post Covid”. She has suggested (although I have no experience in this and so can’t confirm if it is the case with any certainty) that the due diligence and proper examination of cases might have to be sacrificed for the sake of speeding up backlogs. She is worried some of her clients may not get the full justice they are entitled to having had such extended waits to actually have their cases heard. I do hope this wasn’t the case for you. Although yours wasn’t a Criminal case.

It’s all sounding a little unfair. So sorry you didn’t win your case. According to the adverts that keep coming up on this thread from time to time you can win a house with Omaze at the moment Btw. It’s free to enter if you send them your details. Might be worth a shot... :giggle: I would love someone on here to be given a £3M house - I really would.🏘

Hm, it certainly sounded as if he didn't take much time over it, but he was also close to retirement and hence probably didn't care much anymore.
I feel hard done by as the other party lied and the judge viewed it differently from the three (!) lawyers I consulted.

Oh, yes, would love to get a lovely house for free. I don't see this advert, but am still not giving up on my dream. It will happen eventually.

I just feel like there are so many hurdles that are being thrown at me, for the last ten years, and I don't know what I am doing wrong for this to happen.

Everytime I see that advert I worry about the maintenance and cleaning of that place. It wouldn't take much for it to look really shabby and doesn't look like it'll still be standing in 50 years time.

Also it's in the middle of nowhere in North Devon, no way is it worth 3 million. If it was in Bournemouth or Brighton it might be worth that. Someone probably built it and couldn't find a mug to sell it to. The fengshui seems way off

Ah, but the landscape is beautiful!
I would take it, tear it down (maybe keep the pool if it is heated) and then built a little cute cottage :)

(Don’t know how I missed your post yesterday but somehow I did - duh) I’m sorry you have been feeling hollow. I am hollow too. It became so important to me over lockdown as well. More than anyone might know tbh. The wonky pheasants were genius. You are a ⭐. You sent out a message that everyone heard and no one took offence to. Diplomacy at its best. The new posts now seem to have a different much gentler or less harsh timbre - I don’t think I am imagining that. So - well done.🤩.

I’m waiting to see how things go. In the meantime I’m trying to coax the elephant in the room to come and join me here in my hot-cupboard. He’s got lovely big ears and I reckon he can fly 🐘💃

@Rubythefirebat - I see you! I CAN see you 🤗. I was wondering if you can find me someone else I have never heard of to to ‘fall in love’ with please?🐎;)
Just seen this 🙄
It wasn't your fault you didn't see my post. There was a problem with it. I could see it here but there were no reactions to it and it was just sitting here. I looked on my activity list and it wasn't there! I decided to report it, even though I thought I had broken a rule, and miraculously it was ok!
I'm with you...I think I was shocked when I realised my dependency on our group and I've felt quite stunned by everything that's happened, but I couldn't have got through Lockdown without you! ❤
PS you must pop across and see Ali's outfit...🤣

It couldn’t understand how I didn’t see it either, however, it happened me once, my comment just sitting there no reaction. I eventually realised that my post and one other had the same post #number so mine never actually went up and I had to retype and post it - it’s rare but it happens.

I would be tempted to take comfort from the fact that since such a high-profile charity (who will be subject to the stringent rules of the Charity Commission) are promoting it that there is probably little chance of them promoting an over-valued property ‘no mug could be found to buy’. Wouldn’t you say a lot is right from a Feng Shui perspective? For instance - it has a ‘mountain’ behind it, (higher land which protects) - every one of the elements are there - wood, fire, earth, metal and water and they appear balanced. It appears uncluttered and has clean lines. It appears to have soul-soothing views, abundance of light, etc. If you were being hyper cautious you might have thought about not having water in the front of it so close to the house maybe. However, the far reaching sea views with a ‘mountain behind and such wide green surroundings are virtually text book perfection from a FS point of view. You could argue that they have put Norman Foster down in an AONB and it may look a little incongruous (NF didn’t design it I don’t think (it might be twice the price if he had) but it’s the best analogy I could come up with - sorry;)) It’s free if you post your entry. It’s attempting to raise money for a good cause if you want to buy a ticket. If it fell down in 50 years you or your survivors might be able to hand that sticky problem over to the insurers. The poster I pointed this out to was hoping for a house. This might be a solution for the poster who is clearly a bit distressed. If you didn’t like it when you won it you could sell out immediately and buy a property you did like You could rent it out as a source of income if your finances needed a boost. You could give it away to help the NHS nurses even. It definitely looks like it’s remote but if you had a busy life in the city this might bring a bit of harmony and balance into your life at weekends maybe. Every property needs maintaining so there is always that worry, I agree. Not sure if I’d like to have to clean all the windows:eek:. But maybe the windows could be forgiven if you actually won it or it had been manifested through following a dominant thought or you embraced the idea of the infinity of solution. This is such a gentle thread and we all are looking for ways we can improve and enhance our lives by sharing ideas and asking questions. Hope is important - hope and the prospect of a little bit of fun. Maybe that’s why the lottery has been so successful.

edit. As I’ve been writing this the lottery slogan of ‘you’ve got to be in it to win it’ keeps going round in my head. I think I might have just talked myself into giving it a go. Someone has to win it - PREFERABLY one of US (just SHOUTING that out there)...🤗

The next matter that will arise is - where is @Oops - the Downtonbury issue, etc questions will appear. Should we relate to @Miscanthus how it should handled? Should your new thread be mentioned and/or that you’re taking a breather from Lids thread?
I think just leave it as it is maybe for the time being. No point in pushing a rock uphill. If it gets mentioned ever lets deal with it then x.

Today we should hear about @MissMidnight and her hospital check up. We may need to think about a Nymphs and Shepherds scene where we wear flowing Grecian frocks as we dance into a shady glade as we welcome her, strewing her path with rose petals and fragrant pomanders. A harpist will be playing gently in the background. Anyone know where we can lay our hands on a few handsome shepherds and a harpist? Anyone..?

It's too angle-heavy ... Feng Shui loves curves. I always think of Chi (energy flow) as moving through spaces in waves. In a structure such as that it would hit all the angles and feel frustrated and angry.

Your post made me think of the Bank of China which appeared on the skyline all prismatic and angular and so HSBC bank put two large cannons on their roof to fend of the bad Feng Shui from the angles. I read somewhere that triangular plots of land were not too auspicious too.

Love the idea of undulating energy. I think that’s why so many are drawn to herbaceous borders - they froth over in waves don’t they? :giggle:

I haven't read about your situation but what's done is done and you must look forwards, not back. You can't change what is done, but you can change how you react to it and how you let it affect you.

Boxes definitely do obstruct the flow of Chi. BUT you also have to look at the situation on the whole ... if you live your entire life via Feng Shui principles (like a religion) and didn't achieve the desired outcome then it's worth probing what might have caused that; but if you just adopt bits and pieces of the practice then it's not worth worrying about.

I don't know if you work with, or are interested in crystals? They can help in court cases (moonstone springs to mind); it's important not to place all your faith in these things though - trust in the process that what's meant to be, will be. This won't be evident at first but at some point down the line you'll look back and see it had to happen.

Thank you for your kind words.

It makes sense what you say - one aspect of the Feng Shui philosophy only won't rock the boat and make the world of difference.

Yes, I love crystals. I was meditating with pyrite (focusing on the money aspect) before and during the hearing took place.

I find it very hard to trust and often ruminate about what I could have done differently etc.
