I have a couple of large pieces of Rose Quartz, both are reasonably large, roughly about one and a half times my fist, or 4" x 3" x 3" (it is an irregular shape so pretty tricky to measure).
I have quite a big rose quartz and will eventually put a photo up to show you. I was told by my FSM to get the biggest one I could find so its a big baby. However, in my bedroom I have much smaller ones the size of small pebbles. I might go with one you feel attracted to most - one that ‘speaks’ to you. If you want to re-energise them you can put them outside to bathe in either full moonlight or new moonlight. I can never remember which but suspect he told me full moonlight. (First night). How big a rose quartz crystal for the center of the house would be appropriate? Or how small to still work? I'm looking for one and the sizes range all over the place.
My money toad arrived on Tuesday. I put it on red paper and placed it at hip level (wallet level) facing the living room. I made sure to think of my intentions as I placed it. Curiously, the very next day something I've been searching for for close to 15 years became available and I snapped it up. It was a bargain too, half the price I would have been wiling to pay for it. Not sure if the money toad had anything to do with that, but it's something I've been very keen to have and had never seen it available online until yesterday. Last night my husband told me we've had a verrrry good week in our investments. YAY!
So get those money froggies everyone and set your intentions!
What I am about to say next will probably make you label me as barking bonkers - but nevertheless I will take the risk to say it. Ahem...
That makes perfect sense to me. It feels like it is in the spirit of thanking our belongings for their service. You may think me bonkers for this: I talk to our car. I pat the wheel and thank her for getting me/us safely to our destinations or home. (I've named her Bertha as she's a chunky SUV - LOL)I have quite a big rose quartz and will eventually put a photo up to show you. Great to hear your money toad arrived so quickly. You have had 2 very interesting things happen. Things can and often do happen quickly when you tap into a certain energy. The toad is an emblem of intention and where intention is made the energy follows. (It can’t not - its energy). So if you have two things happen so quickly I’d pat your toad on the head and say thank you! What I am about to say next will probably make you label me as barking bonkers - but nevertheless I will take the risk to say it. My FSM told me to turn mine round the other way at weekends to give him a little time out and to give him a months holiday every year. I snorted at him when he said that. However, he came back at me with this - Do you give the people who work with you the weekend off? I said yes. He then said Do you give those people who work with you paid holidays? I said yes, of course. He then said Your toad is working harder for you than you might ever know and should be afforded the same respect. I am not being prescriptive here I’m just saying what I was told by a very wise man. I got my crystal toad less than a year ago so he still hasn’t been given a holiday but it is due...Just sayin’![]()
Moving my home desk is easily done, so will try that and see if I feel the difference. I read your later post re the desk plants. I currently have a little cacti on my deskIts so interesting that you say you hate the feeling with your back to the door. THIS is a perfect example of you knowing the energy isn‘t right for you. If you can you should face into a room when at your desk. So two things - are you above to re-jig your wfh office to enable this and can you ask to change your desk at work or sit facing the other way? Try it out for 2 weeks at home and just see if the energy feels better for you.![]()
Welcome and thank you for your post. You have suffered a very big loss indeed. I really get what you are saying - completely and it does NOT sound stupid. I will go and have a think before I reply to that because I don’t want to say the wrong thing. Did your father go in all your rooms when he was with you over Christmas please? Sending you warmest, warmest wishes .Interesting thread.
I used to be interested in Feng Shui many years ago but since I moved house I’d not even thought about it.
Re the energy clap on Sunday...
Now this is probably going to sound so stupid but please bear with me as I’m extremely sensitive at the moment.
I lost my dad last month. Last time he was in my home was on Christmas Day.
I’m worried if I do the clap to clear the energy then I’ll be clearing him away at the same time and I couldn’t do that.
Am I being silly? It’s all still very raw right now and I like to feel that he is still around me (even if he’s not) and I don’t want to lose that feeling.
Thank you.
@50sGirl I am so sorry to read about the recent death of your fatherWelcome and thank you for your post. You have suffered a very big loss indeed. Protem if this helps - when you clap you can open your windows and ask all negative energy to leave and all positive energy to remain. You might also specifically request all good energy attached to your father to remain.
I’m wondering what @PixelGirl might think about this too please?
So very sorry for your loss. I can totally understand your reservations about clapping to clear energy so precious to you. I remember when my father died, my toddler - at the time - used to go looking for him every time we went to his house. She would go instinctively to all of his most familiar places in the home - his greenhouse, his wardrobe, etc and call his name as if we had hidden him. You have raised such an interesting question. Sending heartfelt commiserations on your recent loss.Interesting thread.
