Did you try any of the Dior Poison ones? Possibly Pure Poison?

I worked in the perfume shop for a few years then on various perfume counters in duty free.
My top 5 of all time in no particular order -
Gucci by Gucci (my absolute all time favourite, discontinued )
Flowerbomb
Kenzo Amour
Coco Mademoiselle
Tom Ford Ombré Leather - closest I’ve found to the Gucci above.

Is that the original Gucci in the square clear bottle with brown liquid? My dad bought my mum a massive bottle of it back in the 90s but she gave it to me as she wasnt keen. I love it but dont use it as i dont want to ever not be able to smell it.

Definitely Black Orchid and Lost Cherry.

Black Orchid is lovely. I don’t have this but I do have the Purple Orchid. LC is my favourite of Tom Ford. Like others have said on this thread I have had people comment when I’m wearing it as well.

Vanilla Vibes IMO is very similar to Paco Rabanne Olympea. I would only ever buy one or the other (at the moment I'm using Olympea Aqua which I prefer over the original cuz it's lighter)

Do you think? I have Olympea and although it has the beachy scent I find Vanilla Vibes much more saltier. I've not tried the Intense one or Aqua though.

Shay & Blue perfumes are by far the BEST perfumes I’ve ever used. Atropa is my favourite, Black Tulip is a very close second. But they are so long lasting and smell incredible

I know right? It really lingers too, I can still smell it on my skin after a shower.

Same here! The smell used to remain on my coats for ages. Definitely worth the price.

Sounds daft but nothing really like anything else it’s not overly sweet more of a salty florally smell but lemony. It’s in the Replicia collection, it’s like the smell when you get off the plane at the airport ha! It’s more of a fresh smell and can be worn by women or men. It’s about £80 a bottle, if you can get a sample of it possible of ebay that’s probs best. It lasts literally forever on the skin too xx

Ive seen a replica sample set on John Lewis which I feel very tempted by!!x

Pre lock down a waiter asked if I was wearing this as it's his favourite perfume. I was and didn't think anyone would ever pick it out

I wear the perfume but trust me, the body lotion is a game changer. I would wear the body lotion instead of the fragrance. It is absolutely insane. I also loved the special edition fragrance they did of it too!

Has anyone tried Angel Muse by Thierry Mugler? I'm looking for a chocolatey perfume and don't know if this is straight up chocolate smelling or something weird?

My Mum's favourite was Estee Lauder Sensuous Noir which has been discontinued, anyone know this scent/ good alternative?

I used to get Eden perfumes when I went vegan but found they went ‘off’ or the little pressers would always jam and I could never get any perfume out!

I just use Shay and Blue now. Good deals on amazon and QVC to be had, they’re cruelty free with lots of vegan options and don’t smell synthetic (I think the creators were involved with Jo Malone at some point).

I'm tempted to get the full ELDO sample range, i really want to try fat electrician next.

It’s a wonderful box. Even when I know a sample is not meant for me, it makes me feel something nonetheless. The worst thing any perfume can do is leave me indifferent.

Red Vanilla is lovely as above

Bright Rose - doesn't really smell like rose, is supposed to be similar to Narciso Rodriguez "Her"

Violet Blossom - delicate cherry blossom scent

Nude Bouquet - does not smell like Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet as some claim. But it is very pretty.

Waterlily Tea Dress - pretty much all the Jo Malone collab scents are lovely but this is my personal favourite

Oriental - sweet vanilla-type scent, doesn't actually smell like an "oriental" perfume

Any of these suitable for a teensge girl?

Love Poison Girl, i will be pissed if they discontinue it like they did Midnight Poison.

Yeah it's lush but not many people seem to know about it which prob puts it at risk of being discontinued will have to stock up

Does anyone have any opinions on perfume dupes that are constantly being advertised online? I love any perfume by jo malone but just can’t stomach the costs! Would be nice to know of anyone’s experience or recommendations of any similar but a lesser price tag!

I get a lot of dupes from Divain, I dont like to use my pricey perfumes for work. So far I've not had a bad one and delivery is really fast.

I have never used Baccarat Rouge but Ariana Grande's "Cloud", which smells to me like candyfloss mixed with vanilla/coconut is said to be very similar

Yea i havbe heard the same thing, I actually got Baccarat because I liked the idea of smelling like candyfloss(i usually wear spicy more masculine scents) I dont get any sweetness with it at all. Its so strange, on me I get nothing like vanilla or sugar.

Its a yellow bottle and i think its just limited edition but its been out a while now, hope they still sell it. Nicest perfume I have ever smelt.

I used to love the Kate moss perfume (pink with black lid) and the Victoria beckham one (in the square bottle) I think about them all the time wish they would bring them back!

My favourite of all time is l’imperatice by DKNY and always on offer in duty free- will always be my go to.

As a teen my faves were Ralph Lauren (not sure of name but in the little blue bottle) and Gucci rush- the smell takes me back to being in a club drinking vodka and coke!

Has anyone tried Michael Kors Sexy Ruby? I was gifted the body lotion and its so nice.

I have it, it’s beautiful very much a Winter perfume
